Samic I think there is a bug in immobilizer data tool for Mercedes. I load the dump and when I try to write it says unknown transponder. It reads it as pcf7935 and I uses these already for bmw so I know they are good. It is a 2003 r170. Also tried under crossfire and same problem. If any one can give me data to write transponder in number 7 postion?

No it can't.
AVDI, SMOK can't extract also. All tools during adaptation flash ECU first and then r/w CS.
With VVDI2 you can adapt used ECU if you know PIN and CS read from dash where it came from.
Still wait for this update in VVDI2.

Don't get too excited about the KVM issue.
2015 Range rover that couldn't be done with AVDI is not recognized.

A tool called "Mart Tool" came out with the same thing a few weeks back.

VVDI2 is mainly very powerful device working via OBD2 with way more modern cars than 20+ year old car. Transponder tool is like an extra add-on to the tool I would say. For programming by dump or just working (writing/reading) with ID13 transponders we can not expect 100% working rate, alhough I guess xhorse team will fix this bug in next update after your input here. For transponder programming better have other device like Tango.

Better keep going and improve most modern cars to be tested than 20 year old crap. There are other tools available for yeeaaars to do such cars.

I have also never come right with these especially all keys lost but he claims VVDI2 does it by OBD without needing to remove the DASH.
How he does it? Big mystery.

basically it's like the key making when you choose the OEM function. You have to use the vvdi copy style id48 chip. Under the process the vvdi aquiring all necceseary data from the ECU and the chip ID is changing to an existing already learned one.
Thats all.
BTW the OEM function is really great. No more dealer stopped keys :)

You can do All Key lost via VV-03 activations if ECU is supporting

They talking about JC dash with NEC + 95320 , I do not think VV-03 needs it for this dash.This dash should have access with or with out key.

Just did an Med17 swap on an 2011 Jetta.
Scrapyard ECU.
Read original ecu CS and pin then read used ECU CD and pin.
Then manually entered CS pin and vin and wrote to the used ECU.
Worked great.

Solution edc16u1 make immo off. Flash to audi version. Immo on. Change CS and PIN. Immo off and flash VW version.
Make sure you do not have Immo Off. If you have Immo Off , it will not read any info and will give error.

If it is 1.2 engine it is not EDC17 and that function will not work!!!

Did you read the abs longcode first?
And a secondehand cluster should be ok.
Depending on dealer license and country.
Just make sure the vin matches and mileage.

VVDI 2 can only read EEprom from CAS 3 with the ZB number 6 ............
If you make an update from CAS3 to a number 9 number ....... you can no longer read Eeprom. I hope that there is a new update of VVDI 2 so that you can read an EEprom even with the latest ZB update of the CAS.

Why would i throw away 250usd + 100usd on a copy function that is not working well like keydiy.

Compared to Avdi it is not so expensive. But since i stopped waisting money on abrites, i am also not waisting it on xhorse.

I am in the luxuries position of having 2 vvdi2 at hand. Only one full.
So it is more off a point that i tried to make here.
And all your arguments are fine.

I would gladly pay, 150usd, for the mqb licence itself, so that leaves only a 100usd.
So i will get it now.

Someone posted that VW keys are also to be used on Seat.
Could someone post some of these keys partnumbers!
I see that some are for tiguan, polo or golf. And i need to make sure they work proper, including the remote fucntions.

Today I was trading an ECU from an RS5.

MED17.1.1 by one of an Audi A8 MED17.1.1, flash micro RS5 new ecu.

The problem is that Immo Tool EDC17 / MED17 in IMMO 5 does not work.

I calculated the data and copied it to the original eprom of the new ECU.

The car did not pick up and gave safe on the screen and gives immo error.

We loaded the car to Audi to adapt online for ODIS.

ODIS has rejected immo's programming.

I reloaded the original eprom of the new ECU and ODIS has already adapted the new chassis number.

Something is wrongly copying the immoblock data, so online also give error. Login or something.

Does anyone have any ideas?

In the calculator says there is no mac adress, they can add new adaptation by OBD with the CS data as we have for IMMO 4 ?.

Hello mate. I think any devices can got this fault any time. need buy or hand-made MQB test connector, to finish this job on bench.

i read CAS4 with 1N35H and i do not know why i read P flash first but i did, Now when i read D flash ALL = FF FF :applause::applause::applause:

ai put cas back in car but no ignition no remote function so EEP lost

MCU did not get unlock i just try to make backup and eep get erased by reading FLASH,

I find that others get flash corrupted but first they read D flash

what wold be the steps to recover this car

CAS downgrade - after many successful downgrades did a 9389115 - vvdi2 warns it might kill the cas....it does. Repair function does not flash back to ISTAP version on this same downgraded version. Any advice?

Edit: I think 9389115 flash is wrong...along with the newer 9395657. I was able to release the steering wheel lock and flash 9395656 which allowed the car to run.

It work only on gew versions ,same as any other explorer,autohex etc. Not all ecus supported

I also want to read an MSD81.2 and also did not read ISN.
If you get listed here these engine control units in VVDI2 you should already expect the ISN reading works. Also a CAS3 + with new ZB number one can not read EEprom.

I hope that there are improvements for the device VVDI2 in things Software.
And sometimes the BMW hardware is thoroughly tested with VVDI2.
So you can work here reasonably.
