I've been trying to add a keyless key to Skoda Octavia 2018, NO successful
The new key is China key( in fact is for Passat B8, code 5G6959753AB, sw H61.9295)
Original Octavia 3 has code 3VO959751B, sw H07.1003
Lonsdor made dealer key success, next I've started to program the key by OBD, for immo data I've used Vag Helper file( I've read it before), the Lonsdor ask to put the key has to be programmed on sensor area( in this car is the start button located in the same place like ignition cylinder key lock( model with blade key), I have started with workable key, the dashboard show 0-2 key( not change to 1-2) ask me to put the second key(China key) on sensor area, dashboard showed 0-2, didn't change again, Lonsdor said no key detected, ask to place the key again to sensor area, I've tried this many times, the car not registered any key, click on "cancel", end programming and I've started to programming again( VERY IMPORTANT: do NOT switch off ignition after cancel-->end programming, just click on "program key by OBD" and repeating the programming)

Transponder should be same. Part number is only for remote.

tried smart pro, it didn't and didn't break down,, , then i used londsor digit 20 pin conwert 8 accepted the code cleared the keys not programmed,lunch x ...., he read bcm errors

This is under payable menu so they should fix it. I have no problem with reading D-Flash, but need to finish the job via OBD. If we paid 600usd for update and Renault is under paid functions, we should expect it to work

Read pin and security data, then make dealer key(used unlocked key), transponder locked after that, then program key, report was success, but key not added. When tried to code key with Multiecuscan and Examiner they reported, that the new dealer key is invalid for this car(Lonsdor wrote success without adding the key). I' ve tried reading eeprom data two times, I used two unlocked keys, but the result was the invalid keys. I've unlocked the key once again, get the board out of the shell and program it again, same result. So I get out the TEG reader and make the job with TMPro. I dont know there is the error, in epprom data(incorrect read) or in transponder generation. Both keys built on pcf7341 transponder, I know there can be also pcf7941. I think this Lonsdor device is not even a beta version, because "beta" assumes that somebody works to fix the errros, but I dont see this. I've spent three hours testing this device, got two locked transponders(they didnt add Unlock transponder in this menu) and finally make the job with the only tool that gives 100% result. No more experiments, will do 159 only in office

Lonsdor read PIN code from i40 smart key system? I have one to do and now waiting for key delivery but I'm rather prepared to get PIN by VIN but maybe K518 can read it?


Reading the pin is Always ok (@hyundai & kia) as far I know, but sometimes it can't program the key. The pin is correct if you can program it with other device.

Finally i received original key fob from Korea to that I40 (2013) so I tried today and unfortunately no luck to read PIN with K518. I will have PIN tomorrow and gonna try programming

For I40 remote key, 2014 year I have cloned the chip id 60 with Keytool, no need the PIN

All systems failed? There are 3 types in menu (they added 3rd recently). If you see only 2 types and tried both, ho under Opel Vivaro or Renault Twingo menu and choose type 3.

I have done all these with lonsdor, but never AKL i believe to get pin you need working key to get acces to UCH over OBD otherwise you cant program new key without reading chip, so best bet is that only dealer has pin to program AKL but dont know for sure.

it was the first question i asked abrites when RR019 was released whether this would do AKL on traffic and vivaro as well , they explained that it wouldnt due to some key differences in system , they hinted that they are working on it but wouldnt commit to a time frame , they also suggested it would be added to the new RR019 licence but wouldnt elaborate on whether another paid addition or as part of the RR019 licence as is .

so they are working on it , but nothing ready yet for akl

I have the lonsdor k518, and so far after owning it for 6 months i am pretty impressed, however.

I have purchased the annual subscription, but have no idea how to actually get that subscription onto my device?

I've got two all keys lost to do on an Audi A5 tomorrow and a Vauxhall Insignia (subscription for pin code).

Really don't want to have to cancel this work if i cant get my machine updated.

Good to see new Renault development but I'm interested if they fixed Clio 4 card learning because it do not work. Multiple people tried and none succeed to program card, no matter if PIN code is read via OBD or on bench from HFM

The problem is their difficult security system, it is need to read flash first, then write flash, at the end write configuration for card programming, it looks like BMW CAS 3 ISTAP

There is already procedure for AKL for these but do not work. I personally tested aswell as some people whom I talked to. So you only wasting time by trying. You need to read D_Flash from card reader and it's enough to then enter OBD learning card procedure but K518 is not able to write VIN in blank card. Programming card ordered by dealer is okay but it can't program blank card. This issue exist now for almost a year and nothing changed

Reading the pin is Always ok (@hyundai & kia) as far I know, but sometimes it can't program the key. The pin is correct if you can program it with other device.

I 'm in France , i can confirm you that new cards are more strongest than old one , be patient , market is too low to invest 1400€ + 500/year just for 2016+ cars !!!!
this tool is the better multi brand tool , for Fiat PSA BMW VAG JAP ASIAN cars , but for program only Kadjar / Megane 4 / new aes keys , never money back

many China tools have same errors , better is IO Terminal & SMOK for READ FIAT PSA immo data keys + PIN code : 95% success , but price is 1400€ only for read BSI , you need add tools to program key & to pre-code immo key data manually ( 100€ + 200€ )
to pre-code immo key data you can use TMPRO2 + FIAT Licences 1200 - 2000€ ...

Could be possible the Renault megan 2 has failed if it has anything to do with the 12 May 2020 updates as I just finished programming XI2 Hyundai key and remote programming failed, never failed before last updates ended using X100 to programme remote, all VAG remotes programming not working as we go along we do not know if all remote programming have issue, we need to tell them there is a problem with the last update or our money back.:crushed::crushed::crushed:

Yeah I had a chance to taste how it feel to brick HFM by OBD2 when trying to ADD new card. Fortunately Lonsdor team gave me 1 year subscription for this pleasure hehe.

The software was poorly written, it couldnt even add card if you had HFM D-Flash.

But now they fixed it as we see by Rola's report. I also have a friend who tested programming by HFM dump and now all is good, they fixed software in last update (took them 1 year however :P)

Yes but for now, sync file can't be used by Lonsdor - vvdi ask for working key or sync file while K518 ask only for working key.

Ok, so here's follow up. It looks like Lonsdor marketing didn't screw it up this time (at least it seems so). Note that offer screen says that this offer is for ALL Lonsdor users. But when I hit that offer again today, next screen says that it's for units purchased after Jan 1, 2020. My unit is more than 2 years old. Ouch.
However, when I contacted Lonsdor representative and gave them serial number of my 518iSE (I never used trial offer, so it was still in "virgin" state), rep checked it and said that if I will hit trial offer I will get 12 months instead of 6. So I did that, not sure yet if it actually will work for 12 months, but at least, I have word of representative in case something goes wrong :)
Either way - now, after only 2 years, I have fully functional Lonsdor...for some time, and can compare it to other programmers. It might be a bit too late as I have couple other nice programmers already, but anyway...

Yeah this is bullsh1t, always treat new customers better than those ones who bought just after release, not to mention many of us constantly give important fedback since we have this tool for that 2 years or even longer.
