I can read the pin code but when programming the keys, no connection, is it an update problem or a hardware problem?

But you need to update, then register to be able to use it. Without that you are stuck till they fix that problem.

I'm doing a 2006 b6 Passat with k518se and I uploaded 95320 from CCM and precoded key successfully. When I try to code in after pin input and 5 mins wait it refuses to accept the new key.....it's an akl situation. Dash reads 0-1 and I tried precoding another key. Any ideas?

You can't be a locksmith only with lonsdor.
How many times much expensive tools failed on some cars?
Lonsdor is not a bad tool but you need more specifically for vag cars.

I don't expect it to do everything. I do however expect it to do what it says......precode and add key. I have other tools and I have VVDI 2 full and VVDI prog on the way. But for now I would like some assistance in getting this car running. Can iprog+84 make dealer key and I can use vcds to add?

If you have eeprom dump you can precode chip with vvdi2. Than either write eeprom back or learn it to the car.

You can't do this job with the tools you have.
You need to make dealer key and learn it.
We can give you pin and cs if you upload the eep file but you still need to make dealer key and learn it.

I see there is option programming without PIN code (bypass). Was this available at the time you tried? Maybe there is some bug when you convert 20 pin in Lonsdor, thats why you bricked this one.

Lonsdor cannot recalculate 20->8 digit. I paid for code 25USD. The code works only for one time programming so if your second key not compatible for next programming you will need next different code.

I have tried recovery backup original flashfile over OBD, battery disconnect. faults in system are hill assist and Start/stop system and implausibe signal from BCM it has separate alarm system also, maybe this needs reprogramming? its Defa alarm.

Can somebody check my Flash file? it looks ok, when compared to previous flashes from other similar vans.

Sorry for your BCM i think is dead ( need to be programmed by CanCLIP or replace by new one ) , you use 13.5V power supply during reading process ?

I always admire people who are not afraid to add keys to such new and untested cars by the Chinese devices. Better to refuse jobs like that and sleep well. I prefer not to risk it and wait until they find some better method to do a dealer key. Remember that you are beta tester when you are using new modules added to chinese devices.
Anyway if you have eeprom and flash just try to put them back (on bench if you have problem with battery)

Wiki says this car(500X) is a twin of 500L, also of Jeep Renegade and Compass. I've been following the Autel IM608/508 FB page for a while and there are results of success on AKL and add key for the mentioned cars. While I think I read a few pages back about one or two other cases of Lonsdor/Londsor failing on these.

Update on the Talento late 2019, so UCH was still working and still had comms. I have some friends at fiat and asked them to do pairing UCH with ECM, after that car started and all DTC's disappeared. So i learned that after flashing and pincode retrieval with lonsdor pairing was lost with ECM, unfortunatly lonsdor only shows pincode and not ISK for pairing if pairing fails after flashing UCH. They hooked up witech2 with dealer access for linking both ECU's. hope this help for the next if trafic III has no start after pincode retrieval and key programming.

Basically any software that uses latest DDT2000 database can pair ECM to UCH but you need 16 bytes after sales code, but i get confused here also, because i don't know if the system is asking for ISK or "pincode" that lonsdor give for this system which is 32 Characters long. so i asked friends to pair system for me as this goes through dealer software which should be automatic retrieval for after sales code from fiat server. maybe someone can explain here which one is the "after sales code"

It functions by intercepting your programmer's CAN high and low signals and passing them through the attached probes. Depending on your plan of attack, you can tap the CAN wires directly in the STAR module, in the vehicle instrument cluster or at the wires which transport the information between the STAR module and the immobilizer. The OBD throughput will feed 12V back to your programmer to keep it charged if that feature is supported by your machine.

How to use:


Plug the main cable of your programmer of choice into the female OBD port of the adapter.
Locate the star module on the vehicle. Location varies from model to model.
Locate the plastic green strip with white cables plugged into it. Probe your red (CAN HI) into the green cable of the first plugin, and the black (CAN LO) into the yellow wire.
Use your programmer of choice to select by vehicle or system type and program like normal.

K518S and k518ISE have same function when you have subscription. After subscription ends and you dont buy update K518S will have lot less free cars then K518ISE.

why are we still talking about differences between K518S and k518ISE??? They are the same hardware and software!! They only changed the name because they wanted to reduce the price to sell more and introduce the subscription.

They had to change the name because people who paid the high price of k518ISE was not going to be happy... so they made the k518ISE subscription cheaper per year than the cheaper unit which has the higher subscription price... that is the diffeerence between the 2 machines not the hardware/software.

I try with lonsdor to programm a spare key keyless.
First time programmation don’t work.the original key work but immo light was on.
After disconnect battery the original key don’t work.when i try to programm with lonsdor (add smart key) i have an error no communication (after try to comm with steering wheel)
I try to use blade key but said me error pin

I try by type.the programmation begin,the key is recognized,immo light flash 5 times.after that key open and close but car don’t start.the immo light is on again.have you an idea?

It's not stupid. In toyotas you can add key without erasing existing ones or you can erase and program. So in this case 'all keys lost' option means erasing keys and then reprogramming which seems you can't do without master key in this case

Well AKL means you don't have an original key. If you put an AKL option in the menu then one would assume it means programming a new key without an original master key.

That's their terminology. Using Lonsdor you need to have knowledge to operate the tool. In menu particular menus, car brands/models there is AKL which means erase and then reprogram. Some Toyotas you can do AKL via OBD, some not.

Yes with another tool smok FVDI etc no problem but Lonsdor not working. Yesterday clio 2 campus 2007 not possible to program key security access error !!! With Renault ecu tool works fine !
I think when Lonsdor update , old programs failed. With clio 2 2007 read vin and reference of uch is ok but program not possible.

Not easy because not working with 3 system on Renault trafic 4A menu.
After 12 times, job ok with twingo III menu.
I think for working just do ignition off / ignition on quickly and click ok for read data flash correctly.

Some 2018+ vehicles have a "security gateway" module (SGW). The SGW module blocks any diagnostic tool from executing commands on the vehicle (like actuators, procedures and even clearing of DTCs). The only diagnostic tool that can unlock full access to the affected vehicles is the factory tool. Another option is to use 'SGW bypass' device or physically connect the diagnostic tool to CAN lines behind SGW module.
The 2018+ models with confirmed presence of SGW are: 500X/Renegade, 500L MCA, Doblo, Giulia/Stelvio. The module is also present in some late 2017 vehicles.

Yes just push brake pedal and headlight !! And disconnect reconnect BCM for reading ok.

How come lonsdor currupt dump? Can you elaborate? And what did you do to fix to be able to program afterwards with fvdi

Lonsdor not corrupt dump but bad read. After read immo data display : backup success. But when I want to add key I choose my dump and display : VIN -/:3}B. Ok or cancel ? When I click to ok. Nothing back to menu.
I read it 3 times allWays backup success but vin not ok and impossible to continue.
With FVDI all ok connect to bcm read by obd ok add key ok. I had 2 new keys from
Dealer not need to make dealer keys.

2018 & 2017 Peugeot 208 , can't read PIN code , finish job in 20 second with F108 OBDSTAR for one , & X100PAD2 for other .
In past tool supported this cars !

hi guys
I need help for Audi A5 2007 akl.
I tried to read the data via OBD with VVDI2 and lonsdor but no luck.
I removed the bcm2 and I can`t read the data with vvdiprog because the chip on the board is 70F3239.
I read a data with lonsdor via engineering mode-obtain data and I need to ask "professionals to convert it to specified new data"
Did it someone before?
Is it works?
I attached the saved file, hopefully somebody can give me a correct key data.
