it's just a post to obtain access to JTAG-DM500 files download.

There's now a guide, pictures and all the tools you need to JTAG your DM500.

You will need these tools if your clone has been zapped by the Gemini 4.3.1 image.

Untested by myself, don't use Gemini .

3 bloody days,
thats how long ive been trying to jtag 2 boxes, just keep getting errors, no stranger to jtagging either, tested cable dont know how many times, its only 7cm in length tops tried both DOS and Windows programs. When i was connecting the jtag today on both boxes the green light lit up on an otherwise dead box in fact a few times both the red and green lights are on, this only happens when connected to parallel and power. When parallel (jtag) is taken off the light goes out?
Any ideas this must be something stupid

I think if you trace the track from the 3 lost points you should still be able to do it

Same with me ,exept once the flashing was successfull ,but after that -no lights at all ,and then CA only ff ff ff .... !!!

I used the jtagdm500 dos program in order to upload the bootloader on my dm500. I used a pentium2 350. The first time I did the operation, it blocked at 0% of uploading. I switched off the box, I checked the connection cable and then I retried the operation, but I always obtained a comunication failure.

i thought mine was original
anyway
