How to JTAG a DM500

i have dreambox 500s i think it is original but i canot flash the receiver the grean light show only and never stop flashing . i try to jtag but i vhave no sucsses with that. sorry on my english

Have you first tried Dreamup with Null Modem Cable to flash a new image?
If green light flashing try another power supply.

Doubt it, unless you brought it from them and its still guaranteed.
Why not google, 'dreambox repairs' brings up loads.

Yes, but too many wires to trace and pee about with, easier to buy a new
'DB25 pin plug', only a few pence. Only need 6 wires & resistors soldering on it

Both, as nearly all new are clones now, if flashing clone don't use a Gemini Image, they Zap clones, and you will need Jtag again.

I have problem to get my dm500c (philips). My box will not start (no green lamp) after I have flashed with the dm500c bootloader.
I'm using DreamFlash v0.1 (is it the latest, it says dm7000s flasher!?) and the boatloders found on this thread (Boot500c.zip and the generated of dm500mac_generator_v2.zip).

I have also tried the dos flasher, "just for test". The dos flasher "works" but of course the box will think it's an satellite or terrestrial box. There is no dos version that supports dm500c?

Is there any other jtag flasher I could try? Or do anyone have any suggestion what I can do/test?

Sorry, not following what you are saying very well, but you don't use dreamflash or jtag flashers.
Forget those programs you mention and use the ones in the (download section) How too Jtag a DM500 along with reading the guides first.
The proceedure on this site that works for a dead box is to use Jtag first to put a good bootloader into the box, then use Dreamup to flash a new image with Null Modem Cable, but not a Gemini image if its a clone.

I used it on my DM500s with no problems, as a mater of fact it worked when the other Jtag did not. It can also change your mac in the process. A bad upgrade screwed my boot loader. It was a life saver.

I have used the program found in the download area (dreamboxbootloader.rar and dm500mac_generator_v2.zip) and succeeds to flash with the jtag_windows.exe using a new bootloader (dm500_cabel_boot_00_09_34_AA_BB_CC.bin) generated by dm500_mac_v2.exe.
I have renamed the file dm500_cabel_boot_00_09_34_AA_BB_CC.bin to blimg and replaced the old one that was in the jtagwin5xxx directory.

My problem is when I'm after the jtag flash is done no green is light and I cannot get any connection with the dreamup and I do not know what to do.

It seems that other on this list have been able to get dm500c (with philips tuner) to work and I'm do not know what I do different from them?

Are you using a Null modem Cable with Dreamup software to put a new image onto the dm500 ????, (Untick use network) this is the only way after Jtagging in a new bootloader.
You cannot use FTP to load image.
If still struggling you could have a hardware problem if no lights on box.
UPDATE : Try this lot (Attached) for DM500 Cable, it worked on mine
