New Images for SG use only

Guys what's a good image for 800se that's stable and supports DTS downmix?

need some help from some bros here

i just flash using Cnigma-OpenPli 2.1-dm800se-ssl84b.nfi via web method..on my dm800hd se
however when i press reboot...the web browser hang at rebooting.
after a long time at this state, i transfer the key,scce and etc files in.
gt the files from another helpful forumer.
just to ask..which is the correct path? usr/keys or var/keys, usr/scce or var/scce? i copied cables.xml to etc folder

after copying i connect to tv but same issue..fta can watch but sgcable all still black screen.
did i miss out anything. or the files are incorrect?

When u transfer the keys to var/keys it will auto direct u to usr/keys.

hi,

any links for dm800hd se image?

saw many post regarding bootloader, softcam etc.

questions:
1-how to check what version of bootloader do we have.
2-we need to match it with the image used
3-how to restart the softcam after copying the keys over

i have just bought it and i know nuts abt it and need help from expert here to do my first flashing

Here is the list of dm800se preconfigured image for SG use. Channels updated 28122012 with picons. Just ftp yr keys & scce files and restart softcam and u are ready to go. Tspanel 6.7 included in the image.

I am using GP3 now. Which image is better? GP3 the plugin for VLC cannot use. It will prompt error and auto restart.

Personally, i have not tested the functionality on most of the image so i can't feedback much. I have these images in multiboot so it is easier for me to create backup without having to reflash.

Hi, noob here. I recently reset my dreambox 500c to factory settings and cause lots of grieve to my family.

I've manage to successfully flash SG-dm500c-OpenPli-27122012.img to my dreambox. However, I can only watch FTA channels.

Can some kind souls here PM me the keys & scce files to watch the rest of the channels? Otherwise please guide me if there are more steps other than FTP the keys and scce before I can watch other channels.

The question is coming back to haunt you, what cam are you using? Have you read the basics?

but now another problem. is there special setting to enable hdmi? i tried with 2 cables on 3 tv and all seems to b just black screen. av is ok.

or is the hdmi port spoil?

If u r using the image in this thread, it is already in hdmi settings. Test yr 2 cables by connecting to another player to confirm it is not the cable faulty and check the tv if it is in the correct settings.

i just got a DMD800HD PVR. flashed "SG-Open Pli 2.1-dm800-(10012013)-SSL-84b.nfi"

Boots up ok. The channel list is showing for all. But only fta channels viewable. The rest of the channels are blank... as in black screen.

just to add... i try connecting via DB edit..set ip address as shown in front of dreambox...http : 80, ftp : 21, username :root, password : dreambox.
tested ip connection ok. but fail on Test username/password.

What did i missed and how do i go about it?

i have check the cable on mio tv and it works.which means the hdmi port is spoil.

i have just receive this box for few days and it is spoilt.
supplier wants me to send the box back if i wan to fix, sure costly.

anyone know where can repiar the hdmi port? hopefulli is not the motherboard..

I "happily" wipe my DM800HDC with " SG-Open Pli 2.1-Cnigma2.nfi". Now black screen for those paid channels. can only see fta. I didnt back up my keys & scce files. Can i redownload one from here?
