Missing Channels on Mini White FY HD 800 C & FY HD 800 C II

I just got myself a FY HD800C II, then I discover this forum. Too late......sigh....

Hi all, newbie here.

I have bought the FYHD-800C III (I know, buy wrong thing liao, next box will be a dreambox) recently, dont have missing channels.

But EPG is not working. The menu will show up but no information on the show, and no timetable also.

Anyone on a FYHD and have their EPG working?
I have contacted my supplier and she told me FYHD 800c II have epg but 800c III dont have EPG. anyhow want to smoke zzz

Mini white or FYHDC-800-IV cannot seemed to be able to add favourites unlike FYHDC-800-III.
Can any users managed to add please help advise?

This is b'cos the transponder was never register in software at all therefore during auto scan, the box will not scan the freq of those channels. Not sure about manual scan will work b'cos I have never trust such box. May not work for manual scan either.

Best for you guys to check with your seller. No expert here on FY800 box b'cos this box is not an opensource software. No one have access to the root except the chinese.

Is it worth to get the latest DM800HD SE? saw it on gumtree cost ~SGD240, any advise/recommendation/suggestions? As long can watch all channels of Starhub Cable it will be fine(except those demand channels). Would love to have HD supported.

We don't know for how long we can get to watch this free tv. We already know that sh is already on n3 and if sh activate it on jan 2013, would u still buy it as u can only use it for a few days. This is just a guessing and only sh can confirm the real date.

Hi all bros with missing channels problem, did you check the start and end scan freq? I scan with 300~750mhz n i believe i have all channels. check for this n hope it helps.
only problem for me is some channels num is wrong so program list is a bit messed up
