At least u tried, did u manually create var/ script folder before hand? I will help you take a look at the code later at nite when I m free...
If really can't, I try to code One for u as promise. As long someone upload n maintain the service file.

Not all, Some to me is dedicated to this forum & contribute.
Now they don't bother so far no big action yet just wait when Big Green add new channels or reshuffle their freq again then u can see it's pouring again hehehehe......

Actually both folders are in var/tuxbox. So I ftp to the same folder as the box. Did I do the steps wrongly?

Or the correct way should be plugins goes to var/tuxbox while script folder goes to var?

Yes the script folder goes to var folder
Enigma1_Bouquet_Update_userscript.cfg & Enigma1_Bouquet_Update_userscript.sh goes to var/tuxbox/plugins

No wonder u get error when updating, Anyway u have to edit the .sh script
The correct 1 is
http://xxx.url.xxx/enigma1.tar.gz
not
http://xxx.url.xxx/index.php?dir


Or u can download it again using the same link & thanks for testing it if not i won't know what i'm missing because the 1st post i will get message no such files in the script folder, but after i edit the url line i can see the text is like in the var/tuxbox/config/enigma/cable this is where the channel list should be for E1 box, I guess this time will work.

U can ask this question to uu161 i've already pm him on similar question,something about editing the upload file to the server that he gave me. So far i tried to upload to so many file sharing however my email address is visible & i do not want it.

I have tried hard to make my own e2 bouquet plugin to work but without success thus relying on bro uu161 sgsh bouquet plugin. Have done editing to the .sh script to point to my url but still wouldn't work.

I suppose most of us here is much appreciate with your good intention don't worry if u try really hard u can achieve anything.
There is always trial & error even for me as master micromouse said to edit the script for E1 takes about 2 min but it took me 1 hour to do it & not fully up always trial & error here & there.
To my opinion let master uu161 handle the E2 plugin, if there is too many plugin for 1 purpose it would do more harm than good, hope u don't get the wrong idea with this post but if u want to experiment than go ahead with it, as for me i'm willing to let someone or anyone in this forum to handle the E1 plugin cause i sometime won't be in SG in case SH adding new channels in fact now i'm overseas to me this is just another experiment.

I created this plugin for E1 500C hope u guys leave feedback & if possible, there is someone who is willing to continue updating this plugin if it really works.
I'm willing to teach those who's willing to learn

1. FTP files to their respective folder/
2. chmod the .sh script to 755 or change .sh script attributes to 755/
3. reboot box.

when box is up and running again, press the yellow button and select Starhub Channel Updating, the box will reboot after the bouquets have been updated.

Please backup your setting 1st before using this plugin.

All plugin is for experimental purposes use at your own risk.

I experiment this plugin using PLI Jade 2 images if u're using a different images please let us know if it don't work.

Hi i used your online channel updater. Followed all your instructions. But after reboot, press yellow button choose channel update only a window opens with blank screen nothing happens. I dont even see any scripts in the window. I am using pli jade 3 e1 dm500c.
