I just upgraded my white FYHD to the one posted by jastro on page 7. Everything works fine now. CH229-231. Excellent support from by jastro. Thank you.

Master SGDVB, FY site it is still there, they juz lazy to search.
I no more support FY boxes.

can anyone manage to scan 135.5mhz on FYHD?
my black box return no value leh.
128.5mhz gives me 129, 130, 131.
149.5mhz it says 8 tv found, but it didnt show any more epl channel for me

Have u try with 136 and 150?

Try again should work if you used latest fw.

ya i try bro. i try 149.1 all the way to 149.9 and 150
also try 135.1 all the way to 135.9 and 136

Once you upgraded the firmware, don't scan manually.
Do a factory reset, and upon the language setting page, just do a blind full scan.. and wait..
(press ok ok ok ok.. all the way.. no need key in anything...)

This is the disadvantage with the FYHD, MVHD, TNHD or watever XXHD they call them b'cos the channel were found as data instead of tv profile when scan.

For dreambox, the brother here who provide the bouquet or updates used dreamboxedit to change it from data to tv.

There are many software to support dreambox unlike those oem boxes will have to wait for official firmware updates from the manufacturer.

Those who have tried using dreamboxedit or dreamup will understand wat I'm trying to say here.

I'm oso not saying the dreambox is good or powerful or trying to put other boxes down. Juz my 2 cents worth. Dreambox recently oso have many problem itself due to component discontinued therefore the maker are using china oem part to substitute resulting all the problem like image drop or weaker signal.

Something b4 I go on leave.
What ever box need from now pls choose those which full digital tuners, yhose Bros cant get chn r those tuner with the Fconnect and TV connecter further apart than 10mm, thats bcos those r the coil tuner with low sensitivity for extreme low or high freq.
I hv posted the type of tuners to look for, pls refer back to many mths ago on jpg of tuners.

Juz my finding, those boxes with Full digi tuner can recvd all 8chn, no proble, including FY boxes. Those not digi tuner, most hv difficulties. No way around xcept by a booster or change box. Last nite all 8 were tested and runs very smoothly, ie, all 8chns r now fully operational, but I still believe they will still increase signal strenght some days later as more subscriber registered.

Obviously you guys not aware there is a even latest newer model from "Tonnow" model tnHDC-999

But owned both models and tested, there is a serious flaw which may be a problem soon.

May avoid getting the model if that important function is not present.

I will be testing the MV HD series next week..
