Be careful updating the firmware of HD800C-VII box, I got a friend, flashed until bricked, and no way to get it fixed.

Be absolutely sure the files u obtained is for your model. Few models don't perform hardware check before burning the rom, and u won't be able to boot up later.

sometimes you may think is brick, but its actually not. for my dm800hd-c, after any flash of any image, i cannot just restart my box. I have to power off my box and remove the power cord to drain out the excess power... den switch it on back. then only it works. if i plug my power cord in and restart, it will nv boot up. always stuck at the dreambox multimedia logo.

Master SGDVB, FY site it is still there, they juz lazy to search.
I no more support FY boxes.

However,this my last posting of update for FYHD800C and TNHD888 (both can use),juz to show my sincerity to some good friendly Brothers' need.

Is this firmware for all FYHD800C? I dont even know which version is mine, .

Update: The system just show "can not find file" while I try to do software upgrade.

Anyone can help?

If only change key... Juz change key to continue watching.

But if change to N3, then you will have to change your viewing method. Either subscribe to SH or wait for cardshare.

i really need help...i cannot scan 135.5mhz...the other 2 no problem...i really need 135.5 cos i know it is ch 102 ~104...so anyone can help?

the other 2 actually don't need cos i know man u games cfm wouldn't broadcast from 105 onward unless last game of the season

try a new coaxial

try to adjust your coaxial cable to ensure the dB is high so can detect. From my layman experience if dB < 85 it will not detect.

Sometimes coaxial tighten too much the dB will be too low. Just monitor the dB and screw and unscrew, or you try another cable point. My 2 boxes one no problem, the other one had some problem so i adjust the coaxial and can already. If coaxial cable too old maybe create alot of noise, try a new coaxial

don't think is cable rite? cos my issue is ALL channels can receive less than 135.5 channels....
