Maybe posted something mods dun think is suitable.. was replying to a bro gettinf poor reception. Getting black rf cable and shorter ones will helo. Also was asking about n3 technology. If it requires card when it " officially " launches or a fw upgrade would help?

Just roll back your steps and change back the settings which you had made, else the possible way was to reset back to defaults and starts all over again. Hope that helps.

I noticed that for DreamBox there is a team who setup all the channels nicely to it's group. Does FY team has a similar way with updates so that I can update the box for a friend who uses FY800HD! Appreciate your help on this. Cheers

Try to use the black antenna cable. Gives u better signal. White cable is rubbish

FY boxes cannot be compared to DM clones as the later OS is a proper Linux OS with greater flexibility. So for the case of yr friend, i would suggest that you

1. delete all the stored channels
2. then do a NIT channel search (of course you need to have set the various 6090 6875 frequency range etc.. to automatically search)

quess you do not need any channel sorting as after the NIT search, you can use the 3 fiqure channel selection that is similar to the Green fat Pipe guys.

Hi guys im new here and read many post regarding FY Hd however I still unable to receive epl chanels. I waited for 30secs to 5min still no signal. I believe I got all other chanels except EPL.

My model as follows:
NAME:HDC800-2
Model: HD-FTA-AVS+DVB-C
SW Version: HDC800 V1.4 TNDT
FW Version: HDC800 V2.0

SW VersionTime: 2012-8-3

Please advice. Do I need to update the software and firmware? I cant seems to update the firmware using FY. At and .Bin help pls.

When I select .bin to ref lash my firmware, the screen flickers and back to channel 101. Unable to proceed to updating screen.

Hi Menifestozz, your firmware version is same as mine, I just flash mine from this url and it worked. So dont loose hope and good luck.
