As newer channels with sr6090 reside in 0.5mhz region, it maybe difficult for some to manually scan it as we are not able to input eg. 129.5mhz in the scan frequency. For some tuners, u can get the channels if u input 129mhz or 130mhz but some will only receive it if it is 129500mhz. Best is to do an auto scan for yr own box since we are using different tuner to see yr tuner is capable of picking which frequency and edit yourself using dreamboxedit and i don't see a need to change for the tuner as most of the channels are viewable. I have include below 2 sets of bouquet which have 2 different sets of frequency on sr6090 and could try on yr box to see the difference.

I conclude, yes, tuner quality play a big part too.
what to do QC of clone tuner is like that

it will fixed by which freq are use

before confrim tuner fault try auto scan if auto didn't get that 6 channel then problem on tuner itself
different brand of tuner do make different by 0.5 + -

one of the set i have i used freq 135000 and 136000..both pixelated. so i use 135500 and it solved the problem. but for other sets, i used 136000 and it worked fine. Guess some tuners are more sensitive.

Yes it all depend on yr tuner on yr box and what master uu161, it is better u do an auto scan to determine which frequency is best for yr box and the bouquet provided by me is just a guide and not to be follow exactly.

hi thanks so much for the updated bouquets YPVS125...
Can I ask whether it's possible to enter 0.5mhz in DBEDIT?
they only show three digits in the frequency part..
                thanks!

                            Indeed, fully agreed with you.
I started with a dreambox, went through a steep learning curve.

Those FY boxes are simple plug and play. Meant for those who doesn't want to mess around and just watch the box as it is.
I choose dreambox because it is widely supported in many forums. If I face any issue, I know there is an answer for me somewhere.

Right now, those FY, Q5, MV boxes, I dont even know how to edit the channels and backup the firmware.
There is no program like dreamboxedit to do the job. There is no dreamup etc
If these boxes can do ftp, editing channels, xml, I think it will be a great box.

so for those boxes u mention, if there are new channels, only way is to do a manual or auto scan right?

                                Hi sg bros,
I bought the DM800 HD-PVR from a supplier quite some time ago. I'm a newbie, so it was a plug and play set.
With the new B##P##L channel, can I just follow some of the instructions posted by bros here to do an auto scan for the channel?
I was thinking of paying the supplier to do it for me, if it's even possible.

                                thanks
