Hi all, my DM800HD received all the BPL channels from ch 226 - 233.
I went into information/service, and go to multiplex,
freq for 226-228 was fixed at 135500, 229-231 fixed at 128500, 232-233 fixed at 149500
    sym rate at 6090000
    Inversion: Auto
    FEC:None

When I go to Tuner status
Freq keeps changing for all channels
    Sym rate at 6090000
    Inversion: On
    FEC: None

I connect the box in my living room, it plays smoothly, but connected to my room, it was pixelated.
    Is this normal?

And by the way, I only receive EPG for ch 226-231, there is no EPG for ch 232 & 233

I have another box which is DM800SE
I went into information/service, and go to multiplex,
freq for 226-228 was fixed at 135500, 229-231 fixed at 128500, 232-233 fixed at 149500
    sym rate at 6090000
    Inversion: Auto
    FEC:None

When I go to Tuner status
freq for 226-228 was fixed at 135500, 229-231 fixed at 128500, 232-233 fixed at 149500
    Sym rate at 6090000
    Inversion: Auto
    FEC: Auto

This DM800SE plays all channels smoothly in living room and bedroom.
Is the DM800HD and DM800SE settings different? Or It's because different box acts differently?

For those who can't get clear smooth image, i reckon u r in older estates and/or higher floors.. Don't go for the cheap one-way amplifier aka signal booster.. U'll hv to go for the official moonhub 2-way amplifier... It's much more expensive than normal but worth it even if u plan for n3 someday... D@v j0ne5 in slt basement

Those Dm800 having freq 135500, 128500 & 149500 , try to clean wall cable point & coaxial cable contact front and back using IPA or Alcohol solution with toothbrush. It could the contact point is moldy. Mine managed to get all the channels smoothly with these simple method...

Mine can't tune to channel 226-228. Keep getting "Tune Fail" msg.
                    Is there something wrong?

Hey bro, thank you SO much for this tip. After trying everything, I finally cleaned the contact points with contact cleaner. Wasn't expecting much at all cos it didn't look dirty at all to me though the cotton bud was a bit blackish. Plus, all my other channels were fine. I screwed the coaxial back in and turned to channel 226 completely expected the same 1/8 fuzzy picture and voila! It was perfect! Signal quality went up from 73% to 93%

                        Hi Seniors,

Im using White FY HDc-800-e for a few mths. So far so good, no complains. However, upon seeing what my friends stb can re-scan to get the beepee L channel, i got curious and google for a bit. With my limited understanding for these stb, im stucked.
I cant seems to check what is my version of firmware. The UI for the frequency setting doesnt comes with a decimal. I can see "miostadium" but channel dont exist, i did auto and full scan for many time, i am still unable to get anything.

Just need to know if my stb confirm cannot get anything, so i can give up since i dont watch soccer (thou having 1-2 channel during weekend where friends gathered is good), and if miracle may happen, how do i tune the set as currently 223-22x doesnt appear.

Sorry for the WOT and pardon me if i did anything or say anything wrong here.

                        Cheers.

There is no guarantee on how long we can used this box to view free tv so decision is yours whether to buy it or not.
