    Can't get this to work on my clean install of a PLI image.

    Created a text file, called it "hypercam", removed the .txt from the name and uploaded it to /var/etc/plimgr/cams and chmod it. Then I have to upload the 3 files in the .tar "hypercam", "hypercam.cfg" and "hypercam.keys". Not sure where to put them so I tried /var/bin and /tmp and chmod them but no cams are appearing in the softcam setup.

        Create a folder called hypercam & put it in the /var/etc/plimgr/cams folder, it will then appear in the softcam menu.

            That didn't work for me. Only default shows for the list of Soft cams available.

                        download any cam via the menu then rename it hypercam.

                            Downloaded Evocamd and it installed successfully but its not showing in my softcam setup. Same with CCam that was already installed with the image.

                                I would flash the box again with pli image & start again, might be a bad flash.

                                    Hi Despdan,

                                    I'm new to this so bear with me. I have followed all that you said in your post but can't get the Hypercam 1.06 to start up as the default. When I press the blue button on the remote it shows the EMU Manager and Evocamd 2.12 is the only one available.
                                    How do I set the Hypercam as the default?
                                    How do I access the cam setup? is it with the remote control (what folder)or when the box is connected to my PC?

                                    Please help as I am a novice at this and it is driving me crazy..............

                                        I am new to this but have got my DreamBox 500t on Cho**s MMds.
                                        I cant download anything from any damm sites which is annoying.
                                        Anyway I have scanned and found my channals but they are scrambled.
                                        Anyone know what surely works to clear N2?
                                        Was everyone using Hypercam 1.06?

                                            N2 is gone bud, it was only there for a short while
                                            It's now and has been for a long time nagra 3
                                            I think I replied to another post of yours already
                                            Only way that box will work is with cardsharing
