Heyy , new to the cable box scene , have the d-box and the digvox xl in the past. got the dream box dm 500-c today, did the scan got the channels but the are just black and say no signal?
i could fix it on the digivox but this is new to me.

Press Menu > Information > Streaminfo > right > right
Note the SNR %, it needs to be over 90% before you'll find channels and needs to be about 96% before you'll clear the channel and be able to watch it without it freezing. Check all your coax. Connect the dreambox to the main feed and try again. If that works, you will need a signal booster if you want to connect it back up like it was before.
The image doesn't come with any keys or roms, it's a FTA image. You will need to add these files yourself if you want to receive pay-tv for free.
There's no way for us to tell if it will work faster than any other image on your box. There is an addons menu where you can download emu, plugins, games, etc. via the Yellow button > Addons ManagerComment

ive swapped my dream box over which has dreamworldz image and i get 95% wen i put other dream box with dk image on same input 62% and wont find anything, do you think my box is faulty?Comment

I don't understand what you're saying.
When you connect a mates box up, it works fine. But when you connect your box up, you only get 65% SNR?
Take a backup of your mates image and flash it to your box and see if that helps. An image usually won't affect the signal strength so it's looking like a faulty box at this stage.Comment

You were not able to download as you had not posted on the forum yet. Now you have, you just need to wait for 15 minutes for ther server to update your download access to your profile..
