Hi guys , my problem is up till yesterday i had fstic viewing on my box, then b/band tv and phone services went down when it came back on 18hours later all my 500c would do is boot to start DK screen then reboot dk screen reboot etc etc. ??

I take it i will have to reflash the image and ft across again or is there another way? cheers in advance

I had that problem be careful? be sure to back everything up.

Hey first thanks to all the memers here for excellent info on the site, its a learners dream!!
Anyways I need litte help, I have a Dreambox 500C and have followed all the tutorials, I have flashed the image, ftp'ed the images, then chosen bruteforce UK to scan

and the box works and picks up all the channels and their programme schedules but only bbc1/2, itv, channel4 and channel5 work, can someone help me please..

Devilish plz help me out

im from egypt and i just bought a dreambox 500c and read one of ur threads on how to open keys to watch sky..it worked for me but now im trying to find keys for Orbit Showtime and Al Jazeera sports but couldnt find any on here or on other websites
Any suggestions?

Hi Devilfish flashing an image to the DM500 is all new to me, I was wondering if there was any where I could go and view step by step vid/pictures to get me started?. Mine hasn't worked for a few weeks now.

when you donloaded it did you read all the way thro the tut? am sure if you go back to it yopull find down at the bottom a wee clue as to what your looking for and by the way they aint new

No Keys or Roms
This image is supplied without any keys or roms. It is a FTA image only!
But I did find that someone has uploaded these files which appear to work fine with this and any other image.

db_magic_files.rar

Copy contents of Keys folder to /var/keys
Copy contents of Scce folder to /var/scce
Go to Sky Sports 1
Hold INFO for more than 3 secs to bring up EMU manager, press OK.
