just killed pli image clone box was looking at using this image as a replacement. Will it work ok?

ok i made a mistake yesterday and flashed my c side of my openmedia when it should have been the sat side nvm ,anyway decided to give dk 1.1 a shot ..............wow flashed np using dreamup and nullmodem ,used dcc to place " special files" in folders also for some reason dont ask i couldnt tranfer my saved service and bouquets with dcc but used dreambox edit and they went accrosss fine,put it on to s** sports 1 held down info for 3 secs started cam and pressed ok went to bbc1 then back to s** sports 1 and 5 secs later box ok again .like the set up so far ,not too keen on the default skin but dont get me wrong its ok ,am gonna play around with addons and the likes but have to say i like it so far well done guys and to devilfish for putting it up here(and for putting up with me )

ok small problem ,connected it up to the network ,so i did what i normally do took it from room to the other ,plugged into my lcd and waited ,went in expert and got to kaos panel ,but the only choice i had out of the 4 all i had was the kaos extra settings ?it was only when i connected my incoming cable feed and re-booted that it showed ??? weird,and another thing thto they were extra skins in addons? but nope thay aint

You get that hangup sometimes when the image has just been flashed. I get around it by doing a channel scan straight after the flash, never hangs up after that.

No skins on server I'm affraid. Takes too much time to get them working and what I like might not necessarily be what you guys like. So best to look for the skin you want and install it yourself using the manual addons option.

Got a box preflashed with this , pretty stable so far.

Just a couple of quick Q's:

1. How do I change the RF output channel?

2. Is there any way of having the epg work like a dbox2 blade quad style thingie?

You can't get output via the RF out, this is only a passthrough from the tuner input. If you were supplying another dreambox you could use this but no premium channels are outputed from this.

ok had this on for a few days now very stable ,picture very sharp,clear even on a 42inch ,put on extra skins and i like it so nice one to all who helped

Missing some channels like Sky Sports 2, BBC etc and pretty much all the movie channels. Any help would be appreciated....

Missing channels is a signal problem.

Remove any splitters and connect the box directly to the main feed. Do another scan and see if the channels come back.

Reconnect the splitter, etc. and see if they are still there. If not, you will need a signal booster. Check the SNR %, should be about 96%.

Just trying to get my head around a few things in the USER FEATURES section of the dreambox when using this image:

1.ServicesBackup - WILL THIS BACK UP EVEN PARENTAL LOCKED SERVICES ASWELL AS THE BOUQUETS ETC?

2.BackupImage - WILL THIS ALSO INCLUDE BOUQUETS AND PARENTAL LOCKED SERVICES THE WAY YOU HAD STORED THEM?

I basically just want a cloned image, so everything is like for like if i was to re-flash or flash a different box. Thanks.
