Very weird behaviour compared to the other DM800HD i had recovered earlier.

This time, the DreamUP does not response, no detection, no dialog box pop up complaining "No CA..."

Was told he had use DreamUp to replace the shipped TGP firmware with DreamElite sim2.01, and dont like the layout, and flashed some firmware downloaded from OpenPLI, and got stucked since.

Tried the DMM logo clicking fix, Tried Enforcer..
Cant get even an IP at all..

I am totally lost.. anyone able provide a solution?

    Thanks in Advance

I found the solution for myself..
          Sharing is Caring..

          What u need:
          1) 1 working DM800HD
          2) 1 null modem cable
          3) 1 working LAN network link
          4) 1 PC

Connect the working DM800HD to DreamUp without the network option.

Once the DM800 detected, wait till the Flash button to be un-greyed.

Unplug the current null modem cable and reconnect to the powered-off faulty set, and plug in the LAN cable.
Plug in the power to the faulty unit.

Wait for 30sec and click flash.
The OLED will display the ** Serial Setup Mode **
And also display the DHCP obtained IP

Use the web interface to flash the patched firmware.

          Enjoy!!

Newbies, don't PM me for details, I wont reply.
Just read more on the commonly available steps yourself.

The above procedure is for those who had issue with non-responsive DreamUp recovery.

I have just bought a dm800HD PVR, it locked up on the 3:d day I owned it, and wouldnt boot, so I tried to flash it threw webbrowser.
Now I dont have an IPadress or anything, it just shows the display:"Dream multimedia ->Error! NO CA FOUND, look at www.dm7020.com.

I saw this link, and it seems to have the solution for me, but I cant see the Pitures (1.jpg.....) until I registred, so thats wat ave done now.
Sorry my English, I?m from Sweden.

Hello, I'm new here and newbie with clone 800

I'm from Georgia and sorry for my English

yesterday become DM800 as gift (used one), with some very slow arabic Gemini on board. Checked the BL version and it was BL73. I have changed the image with this one:

              Merlin-2.Excalibur_OE-1.6-dm800-20101010_SIM_BL70_OCP.nfi

After one day testing found some problem with 4-5 DVB-S2 transponders on 9E. via telnet checked again the BL version and it was 76r1.

after image OpenBlackHole DM800 - I have the same problem - "File to Big"

so, which image can I use with my damaged sim?

via WI I have uploaded my old Merlin-2.Excalibur_OE-1.6-dm800-20101010_SIM_BL70_OCP.nfi - NOT WORKING, same error - NO-CA

can someone share BL72 file? (a small file, only bootloader)

File too big, usually meant, write access denied.

                                Hello people :-)

Good news I found how to flash the pain in the Azz from the famous ca not found (dreambox 800hd pvr)...

You will find on the pages above some patched dream up
and some files that may usefull but for me it work differently... here the story

                                1)Open dream up

2)you will need a null cable modem and a network connection (rj45 via router in my case).plug the r232 cable

                                3)connect dream up

                                4)power on your dreambox 800

                                5) once you will see that your box is connected you can identify on the boxscreen the ip address

I know even if the network should not work, once you get hooked via the r232 cable(null modem) it will be ok

                                6) go on a web page and write the IP address

                                7) MOST IMPORTANT PART...LOOK at THE BOOTLOADER YOU NEED...it's at the end of the text on webpage

in my case it was a #59 so here is the link for an image
                                Officiel Image ( 500 s / 800 HD ) By soirnet.com

It seem's that even if an image(firmware) is good the bootloader is your viagra

7)Then do the upgrade firmware and flash it

                                8) A brand new working box

I still need to get used to the cccam and stuff as it's just two days I started playing with dreambox

Hope it will work for you folks and et me know
                                see ya
