dk1.1 flashing and searching

Can somebody help me pls.

1. Recently when I search for channels using automatic, at the end of the search I get this error:

Couldn't open servicefile - create
/var/turbox/config/enigma

How do I resolve this pls (DM500c, dk1.1 image)?

2. Another DM500 box - the power indicator is on, but not responding to remote control again.
I tried flashing with dreamup but it keeps coming with an error.

Any way to reflash the box?

try turning off the power wait a min then turn it back on.
every now and again like all computers it will hang. if you are having trouble flashing the img check all cables are connected securely. if no joy try using a different version of dreamup.

will reflashing solve my channels problem
