Done a full slow scan it fine, it only doing on fast scan?

Still playing, it the first time i've installed it, so i'm still modding it to my flavor

I would just like to say thank you to all involved with this image, especially Devilfish. Havent had a Dreambox for a while now but just got the Linux black nox and this image did exactly what it said on the tin.

dreambox newbie

hi peeps,got my sisters dreambox out of her cupboard today,as im a dbox2 person and have flashed with null modem cable said yeah ill sort it! dont ya wish sometimes youd said no! anyhooo, before i got to this site i downloaded dream up which i found no proob and then image dw 2.1
scan took months! and i only got ftv.
so after lookin around found you! now then... the kaos image...good? and how do i get it .

i am having probs with username and password for ftp after flashing this image?
i havent played with a dm500 for some time i thought the
username = root
password = dreambox
but it isnt working?
i have read through the writeup for this image but cant find references to passwords.

Yes the username and password are standard (root:dreambox).

DHCP is enabled by default so check the network settings as your router may have assigned it a different ip address than you're used to.

could you take a quick peep at this screenshot df.
this box was given to me as non working ie it wouldnt boot. dreamup revived it but i cannot access anything via the ip my router assigned it. same happens when i try to ftp to it.
my dm600 is fine my router assigns that an ip and i can access via web browser or ftp. this is strange an doin my head in now.

I don't what else to suggest m8, the password isn't changed.

Maybe reflash it with the v1.0 image then use the upgrade feaure to upgrade to v1.1.
