My box arrived today, couldn't use dream up wouldn't conect properly so ended up flashin it through network instead.

1 question about scans tho i'll do a couple on auto but can't seem to get all channels or keep them ie. 1st scan gave me such and such 1 & 3, 2nd scan but on different ransponder will return different channels but overwrite the ones i had from the other scan.

could I use someones backup of services and bouquets or do I need to create my own ?

hi, im having some problems with my dm500c. sky sports 1, mtv, and most channels work, except for the sky movies and other channels, i have ftp'd and put the keys and roms where there supposed to be. i have another dm500c, and it works perfect, dont know what the problem is. im on dk 1.1

I'm in the middle east and trying to feel my way around my dreambox... so far, i've been paying around USD 20/month for un-encrypting most satellite channels. However, i have been losing many channels recently and i want to see if i can fix it.

OK first up, the dk forum is THE place for all dreambox related goodies/help.
the stickies/guides are easy to follow and comprehensive.
i know from experience that when you join a new forum, it can be daunting to ask for help not saying that DK is like that, but you know what i mean. anyway i'm rambling. As i stated, the guides are excellent but maybe whats missing is all the info in one file. This isnt a critique BTW

Anyhoo, ive unashamedely plagiarised devilfish and thommos excellent guides and recompiled them with a bit of tweaking.
kudos to you guys and any noobs like i was (still am?) please take a read.
