just got a dreambox, hopefully this guide will guide my stupid brain, thanx

I have tried almost everything to get this box working and I am on my last legs. I have the dk image and I have ftp the rom7 file to var/keys turned on the cam and still not working.
What files should I have so I can check what is on the box.
I have flashed eurovoxs and starviews without a problem but this dbox is a nightmare.

Check your pm.

I know the felling mate once your up & running you will find it easyer its when things go wrong it gets like that.

I have followed the instructions to a T.

I managed to reflash the box using Dk 1.1, correctly Ftp'd the keys and roms to var/keys & var/scee.

I held the info button for 3 second ran the evocam 2.12.

The channels are still blank.

I have also downloaded the latest Evo cam 2.17 and have tried other cams, all downloaded from the Add on feature.

In fact i have tried so many different things across the past 2 days, but all in vain. Below is what i did step by step.

1) Flash the box using DreamUP - image used DK 1.1
2) Auto Transponder scan - I used BruteForce Uk as there is not one for my area in South London, this picks up all the channels.
3) Ftp keys and roms.
4)hold info button for 3 seconds and run evocam (and many others tried)
5) wait 2 mins...still get a blank screen.

Am i missing something?
Guys...what am i doing wrong? Any pointers / sugguestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, im exactly the same on a blackbox, i'm running the evocamd 2.12, everything went fine on the guide until now but im just getting black screen. Is this a common mistake? Im a new transfer from starview1 clone.

Guys i've found the problem. In the 'dreambox_stuff' folder on your computer (downloaded earlier in the guide) go to 'keys' and then 'keys', its these files that need putting into the 'keys' box on the righthand side just the updated keys go into the 'scce' folder. I really hope this helps you (and makes sense)

Finally a forum with lots of info for me to learn abt my DBox. Will try to use guide for setting up.

Cannot open guide.
Error message indicates that the zipped folder is empty.

Anybody can post unzipped doc?

great. this makes its easier for me to understand. does this also works in the Netherlands. As i see i need to copy keys to the dreambox. should i copy the keys that are needed for my cable provider in the Netherlands to the dreambox in order to make it work?

Hi guys, must say the guide is v good and easy to follow, how ever on completion - only FTA chanels are decoding - all other there but just can't see them. In the above post are you saying that the 'Keys' need to be copied to the 'scce' folder as well as the 'nagrae' file??? Thanks in anticipation Anyone.......

yes put them in both,restart box,then go to Slysports 1 and wait may take a minute and then the channel should appear.
