Hi ok i will try this as i am not getting all the channels on a scan and do not have the BRUTEFORCE option on my current image - SPORTSTER 2.0

Just switch off fast scan in the scanning menu and it will do a bruteforce scan. takes around 20 min

having trouble connecting PC to box at the moment. Can some one just recap. what shall i put in the DEFAULT GATEWAY? Please can someone help was connecting ok till now...

I set all my boxes NETWORK=192.168.0.101
i set my pc internet protocol ip=192.168.0.100 mask=255.255.255.0 default gateway= (leave blank)

You dont need anything in the default gateway if you only want to ftp to box.just set your ip on box to what you had before, and dont forget the password for this image is commando.

strange getting a ping after restart but not connecting with FLASHFXP...??....
IS this new commando image a free to air image only?...

Have you changed the password to commando in flashfxp like i mentioned in my last post.

yes got it on the dbox.....flashed it on but cannot connect. DEREK yes i have used the commando password in FLASH FXP but will not connect....Ping is there when checked on the DBOX....strange
