it was posted earlier in the thread mate you need to enable the network in the image after flash then set your own ip!!!

Once again another pointless exercise with a commando image, not since commando 6 have I ever been able to get one going , your spend 3 hours poncing about copy file here there and everywhere chmod this that and the other but only about 1 in 50 will get it going, my advice stick to tried and tested images dump commando

New-style 7 Day EPG (by Freddy Frog)

OK- someone has already covered this, but here's the notes I added to the original release thread elsewhere; it should make things easier for you, and if you think about it, it's a much better way of doing it!

FreddyFrog's new 7 Day EPG

I'm glad to see that T-C have implemented Freddy's revised version in style!

What's new?

• Default EPG across the board is now restricted to Now 'n Next only
• T-C have kindly made the correct EPG setup for you
• and daily overnight Timers (Blue > Yellow to view/edit these) to refresh
• and included Help Text in /var/tuxbox/config/zapit/epgfilter.xml

Freddy has now changed the method by which the epgfilter.xml file functions. You now add the 100 (ish) channels in there that you DO want 7 Day Epg for, rather than the 200 (ish) channels that you don't! 10 minute copy 'n paste jobbie from your bouquets.xml file...

I've tested this today- and it loads the FULL 7 days in 5-6 minutes, compared to 20+ mins with the previous version. Wicked! You just switch to the PVR_EPG channel to suck the data in- eazy peazy!

Well done Freddy- and to T-C for being the first to use this great feature!

more like dump your attitude m8, it ~~~~ers like you who cant be constuctive that will put modders off playing and providing you with anything at all

if you havent got the hang of copying less than ten files to the right place, then maybe you should put your box in the bin

if you dont like the image then fine dont use it, but if theres something wrong you cant fix, post the question,

you will need to reflash with a crossover cable null modem cable and IFA
image flash assistant.

dont panic im sure it will be ok . remember to put 50 p in the meter before you flash agian

If only you stopped and thought about how many hundreds of man-hours goes into compiling, scripting, debugging and testing an image like this, all for FREE- you'd have probably bit your lips and not posted that utter crap.

Comments like yours, combined with the fact that Commando 10 was for SALE on Flea-Bay within minutes of being released, just takes the wind out of the Image Creator's sails; their willingness to carry on devving and sharing will evaporate...

Good point nothing directed at T C but since the keys are not allowed anymore and other files needed ect ..... poor old joe public will turn to fleebay scum selling it, asfor some its easy and other impossible to get this image working.
Now after 4 hours I have the image working, do you think I should upload the working image and link it or just say who ever wants the working image pm me, might stop some going to fleebay

Herbie, i gotta admit u have a point here....
people "in the know" will take 5 mins to get this image workin easy enuff...

on the other hand .....
people who dont play around with their boxes will struggle for a couple of hours (and wud much prefer to buy it fully working from somewhere else).

but its a good thing too...because a noob learning to mod an image , could lead to other things, like image creation ..or.... Nagra coding...
