yeah I see that, have been reading up all day, but I forgot to make a backup of my old evocamd file, so i aint got it.. i have seen download links on here, but they seem corrupted.

I just d/loaded it and it was ok no need to rename it.
All you have to do is transfer it to var/bin/emu.

thanks mate, done that, but still no sky. right clicked it, changed atributes to 755, it was xxx before i put any files in there. dunno what to do now... replaced my roms, and I tried the roms on my sportster image and they worked, so roms are ok.
is there an emu to turn on? or is that the 755 business?

I am looking, but not sure where you mean. i have accessed the menu and reset softcam, still no joy. re-booted it a couple of times too.

yes mate, 3 files, nagarom7 aram 7 aepr7 I used them in the old sportster image i had this morning and everything worked fine. I re installed them back when I flashed to commander 10d.
Along with autoroll, autoupdate, keylist.txt nagra , services.txt, softcam.key, also in there is gbox_cfd, mg_cfg, and camd_cfg

All sorted now, with great thanks to everyone, but mostly Elric where the final bit of the jigsaw came from. All the emu files I had downloaded weren't working for one reason or another. Downloaded an old image and used tuxflash to extract the evocamd file. All on Elrics advice I hasten to add.

a bit of a techie question the advanced EPG other that whats on now and next can anyone give me some detail as to how it works there are files for NTHELL and ex cw how do you adapt this to work for different systems ie youpeesee cork in particular??
