New channel Editor?

Is there a new channel editor since the December 09 firmware upgrade, it seems there are now 12 favorite groups? Any Ideas?

You can plug in any USB, but you need to format USB to FAT 32. I have a 1TB external hardrive connected to my Eurovox 7000 at the moment. It is working like a dream. There are at least 5 or 6 HD channels (BBC, ESPN, FX, MTV, CH4)

been running ex7000 for about 6 months and this is an easy box to flash and the hd quality is great ,with the upscaling good aswell. seems that depending on where you live and your provider to which firmware flash works the best. ive tried all 3 flashes and have gone back to the sep one as this is way the best for my region. s yorks.
this is a great box but im wondering why anyone would buy any cable box with nagra 3 just around the corner and the whole lot going down?

no but you can sort them manualy menu>channels>fav manager>red btn sort >blue btn move

Hi, any chance of some help. i seem to have managed to get into a real mess with my new eurovox hd 7000. So i plugged it in last night and did the ez install. I had all the channels on the list but all but the standard terrestrial channels were saying scrambled so i assumed i needed to update the firmware so i downloaded the 03.12.09 firmware, went through the process of putting it on my usb stick then turning the box off and on and the box said it was writing the firmware. However, since the box rebooted all it is saying is 'Invalid Data' on the screen and i am unable to do anything, literally apart from turning the box off and on at the back. The only thing i feel like i may have done is not unzipped the download file properly. Any help!! Very worried i've broken my box!.

Hi m8 if you did'nt unzip it the box wouldent have installed it ,reinstall the firmware you had the first time

Cheers, i didn't install any firmware first time round. just ran the scan and it found the channels but all but the terrestrial channels were scrambled. Which firmware would u reccommend, i'm on virgn mdia in the south west. Nice one.

Does anybody else find that the HD channels intermitantly scramble themselves or is this an isolated problem that only i'm having?

Can't say I've had the issue with the HD chans but I have to say the pvr facilities suck. 1. So far I've had 2 recordings work from the epg - that's when the epg works. 2. The recordings that actually worked ended up vanishing from the hard drive.....

Pictures great, easy to operate, easy to set up etc but please somebody get the epg to work consistently and the pvr issues fixed. Otherwise even on factory software it ain't fit for purpose IMO.

I've got the same problem with the pvr. When it's set, it automatically changes to the right channel to record ok, then displays 'recording will begin in 10 seconds', then it just seems to get stuck! Records ok if the box is already on correct channel.

Not very impressed with the box really, supposed to be an upgrade for my Eurovox Max. If I can't use it to record I should have saved my ?180.
