I also have the scrambled channel messege! am i right in saying that if i update the firmware then this problem will be fixed and the channels that are scrambled will be viewable

Hi and welcome to DK.
YES, update the softwa*e and you will be able to view the scrambled channels. Have a look here>Eurovox and read the stickys in red, it explains what you need to do.

Stopped Working

Hi All,

I have had the 5100 for about a year now and it has worked fine. I sometimes get scrambled channel but normally when I do a channel update it then works.

However this did not work so I decided to do a deep scan. It found the channels but a lot of them are scrambled. I can see most of the sport but hardly any of the film and it seems to be random ones missing.

I have the newest firmware on it and it has worked fine for the last year, but just stopped working the last two weeks. Any Ideas as what to do?

Make the most of the channels you have left m8 as it sounds like Nagra 3 has arrived in your area. Nagra 3 is the new secure encryption being rolled out by VM.
Slowly you will loose the remaining channels. You will be left with FTA channels only. There is no new firmware for these boxes.
