new epg firmware fix is no good

after loading up the new firmware epg is still slow
and when going throw the channels its even slower
then before,
also i have my box connected to my pc via the tv card
and when i turn the box off i can still see the last channel still on my tv card
so the tunner in the box has not really turned off never did this before i added the new firmware

i will be loading the old firmware again tell the next fix comes out

Hi, I have installed this new firmware on my box, and I have no improvement on the EPG. I am using Virgin cable in Lancashire area, if this is of any help. I have tried installing this update, factory reset, delete all channels, scan for channels, everything. I also tried installing different firmware before this one.

I have also found that my box still freezes a bit, and I also from time to time get the slot 0 in/out problem.

I hope there is a solution to my problem soon. Thanks.

Hi, i have bought the ex1100 jus recently, after scanning the channels everything is coming up but all channels are coming scrambled, i havnt put any firmware on this but even though i have downloaded it does any body know how to get it working since when iv placed it in my usb but it dont show on the box? thx

But is 'factory reset' necessary? If so, how do I do it?

I've started getting the slot 0 problem since I upgraded as well: I've downgraded back to the September firmware - here's hoping that resolves!

EPG seems quicker for me but that might be because its pretty empty. Seems worse than the previous firmware.

i plugged in my eurovox ex 1100 usb which i received today but despite using my existing cable connection which i know works,i keep getting a message no signal,do i have to download software first to my box many thx in advance,as you can tell i,m a newbie

Yeah, download the firmware and then perform a scan and you should get all your channels.

Tried this fw, but epg stopped working so have reverted back to previous fw.

excuse the newbie!

Some one somewhere please help me! I'm trying to get my eurovox EX1100 usb to work but am close to concluding its broken! Right, I took it out of the box but did not plug in to power. I connected to my laptop using a usb null adapter, and a 9-pin female series cable. I installed the driver disc, my laptop recognises new driver and hardware but I just cant access it any where? What colour should the light be on the front? I only have 1 light on the left of the box? Wats a clone and how would I tell? Im so brain bashed by this cause my m8 recommended and said how simple it was! HHHHHEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPPP!!!!

Hasn't made mine any better

Updated the new firmware now have no epg will need to revert back to the older FW. Wish I kept my max v never had any issues with that. Although the box is faster.
