        Hi Gents
I have just scanned my Sony tv and all channels picked up.
I cant seem to locate a tutorial on Cams and cards and what I do next to view the scrambled channels.
I have read your first post and know which type of cam and card I need but as I am new to this type of work I need to find info on what I do next ( ie flashing the cam/card)
        Thanks
        Ash

          What programmer?

Right, been some time since I used this programmer, so need to confirm I know what I am doing/need.
Got as funcard 4, and a joker cam with 0.79.
Can anyone adivise what prog software I need? I tried CardPro v2, and ti doesn't seem to recognise the programmer. So, do I need the correct s/w or will I need to buy another programmer?

          Thanks.

            Update

Manage to get a CAS 3 loaded Joker 0.79 on Black Icecrypt
and loaded Funcard6 with AU fix.

Can now clear encrypted channels sound only and some times picture shows but is freezing and very jumpy, this also goes for the FTA channels ..BBC1 etc

Unpluged CAM and encrypted channels no longer clear but FTA channels all become picture perfect even BBC HD in HD perfect.

            Any ideas??

Also tryed just plugging the CAM in without the Funcard channels freezing and jumping FTA only....Unplug CAM picture perfect FTA only.

            Im stuck now please help..

Whats the difference between Rom11 blocker images and
              the normal AU fix image?

Square they are for different cards.

Rom11 is for a mosc only and the fun flash is modified to work on the funcard only. if you have a mosc that is by a distance the most robust card but both will allow you to watch encrypted channels.

Square sorry mate I dont actually have a sony tv so I am not that clued up other than what i have read.

The problems you seem to be experiencing suggest a bad flash on your cam or your cam is conflicting with the tv and/or a weak incoming signal (i suspect this is less likely). Try flashing the cam and funcard again see if that works ?!

at the start of the thread bugaloo41 mentioned "A detailed tutorial for anyone who is interested is attached". i had already looked in the downloads section but found no reference there. if it is as simple as programming a cam with the joker 0.79 and using the BK and IRD from the ci menu on the TV to program a fun card or atmega card then i should be ok as i am already seeing free to view channels. my only other question was what best cam to use as i was under the impression that i could use a diablo cam with no card from a guide i found from another site (could post if it helps others)

                                Hi Ash

No not yet (see my Update post)

Gona try updating my Sony 40w3000 firmware first to see it resolves the cam issue. If not will buy a Diablo cam.

I might have a dud Icecrypt cam, but have no other cam to try.
waiting for delivery of my memory stick duo now from Play.com and try the Bravia firmware update.

Dont even know why i'm going through this when I have a dbox2 working perfectly well.
