Guy's just noticed my jvc tv has the cam slot in it for pay per view tv..could I purchase a cam card and will it work with V****n, any help would be appreciated.

skiboy its not the cam slot that makes this work its the tuner in the tv. check the spec of the tv but to the best of my knowledge its only the bravias that have an inbuilt cable tuner. read that the new samsungs also had one but no idea what model or even if its true.

A conditional access module (CAM) is an electronic device, usually incorporating a slot for a smart card, which equips an Integrated Digital Television or set-top box.
It slots into you tv(usualy at the side) if it has one
The net id is what you have to key into the Tv along with the frequency and the symbol rate.

Update

Still having freezing and jumpy issues when CAM is plugged in TV.
I have tried Icecrypt and Matrix Reloaded and Majic CAM's all seem to decrypt the premium channels (sound and sometimes jumpy picture).

I think there might be a problem with TV CI slot, have tried doing the firmware update mentioned on other forums but unable to get TV to recognised the Mem stick duo. Prob give it another go this week but this is starting to cost me bundles.

just searched on tv but i had to swithch the country on my tv so i choose germany and find 25 channels inc the normal 5 uk channels.
there is sky sports 1 2 3 eurosport and some like eden living and many more.
but still less tv compere to my eurovox
