how long would you say it has took to phase the other channels out mate ?@ Dogsdinner, almost all channels have gone to N3 in Ireland,more dropped this morning and we'll be left with rte1 buy monday.It done now and wont be phased out over time.....it all over.Upc are laughing all the way to the bank with costumers crawling back to them not to mention to little guy in you local supermarket by his Sky stall fiddling with a biro...he's tearing his hair out now because he's so busy.Sky installers are around like monkeys swinging from trees and to be honest it makes me sick for us be forced to lye down and throw out all the gear we bought and have empty forums and threads.Thats just my thoughts this friday afternoon.
didnt N3 hit mid August ?

only 4 weeks m8 it was easy for them the teckies on the nthell side of upc had already done it in dublin galway etc so they would have paved the way for ch**us techs . it was august for nthell m8 not cho**sComment

Its not like N3 is new.... It has been around for a while, and there has been no progress, so why when the UK cable (which represents a small share of the market) is appearing to go N3 do people think that suddenly a 'workaround' or 'breakthrough' will come.
It will not happen. If it does, well it will be great, but I dont think anyone can realistically hope for one any time soon.Comment

ok lads not such good news , ch**us have received 2000 boxes and are rolling them out from tomorrow , they are replacing older boxes the small ones are able for new cards , all channels will be gone before Christmas this means mmds will be nag3 a well twas good while it lastedComment

Not sure about the mmds there mtv1,reports are that they cant have the n3 running on an ancient system like mmds,even tho the 1802 stream is showing on stream info.could be wrong on this but its a problem that they're "still" dealing with.Not 100% yet.sigpicComment
