Any reason why my USB is not showing in the Mount Manager section?

I initialised it when I first started using it. Tried to mount it today as it wasn't showing, box rebooted but still nothing.
It's working perfectly fine as it is but wasn't sure why it's not showing as being mounted.

    Thanks.

I thought I could just change the location in the 'Recording' options on OpenATV without touching anything else.

I've not got round to it yet but will in the next few days.
You can as long as you remember you have called your usb an hdd and vice versa. I suggested changing the mountpoints so they match the device to avoid confusion but if your happy just changing the recording path go for it.

By installing epg, picons and file swap to usb it means the hdd will only spin up when recording. Reducing noise and wear on the drive

Got my H1 running sweet now on OpenATV 5.0.

    Quick question.
I have a 8 gig USB stick in the back for CrossEPG and few other things and was recently given an external HD with a 500GB hard drive in it.

I want to use the 500GB for recording. Can I leave the USB stick in the back and use the front USB socket for the large drive or should I plug the larger one straight into the back?

    Thanks.

Came with a UK 3 pin plug, took out fuse and box booted up.

I've now swapped it for a UK C7 cable.
I bought a couple from there and they didn't have a UK plug I used a UK figure of 8 plug.

I just wish the beggers wouldn't clone the bs mark on the plug but to be fair mine were ok. Never even thought to check for power without a fuse when i was doing my usual and changing the fuse for a brand I've used for years without issue. Call me paranoid but i do this with all appliances that arrive with fused plugs whether i buy them from a shop in person or online from wherever they may claim to be manufactured.

Are you 100% that your box is an original?
I wouldn't think they would supply a UK plug with these boxes as a rule,

Better to be safe than sorry just swap the Figure 8 lead over for a UK one

I just tried the zGemma 2S power supply with the fuse taken out and the green light came on the adapter. Didn't plug the receiver in but that shouldn't be normal behaviour with a fused plug?
