New 2015 Enigma2 Boxes DVB-C and DVB-S2 Zgemma Star H1 & 2S

Good Morning All

After some support from digicon I think I'm about done. Just stuck on the last hurdle and need a push in the right direction.

Auto Bouquets

Zgemma H1 both tuners set up all and working, usb plugged in back formatted and also mounted


The sticky part is this next bit :
Menu/set up/ service searching auto bouquet maker
Configured expert-providers set up-start scan
Loading bouquets
Reading sly
Services 590 radio 61
Tuning vermin
Then this message
Time out for tuner lock !!!


Could someone please let me know what I am doing wrong. Thank u in advance

First you need to find the IP that has been allocated to the receiver generally Menu - setup - Network - adaptor settings should find this out for you example 192.168.xxx.xxx

enter the given IP into filezilla and the username 'root' normally images are not passworded

press connect

Google is your friend...A bit of reading and you should be able to set it up much quicker than you think. Go for it.

Well that sucks. My card isn't married or anything. At least I'll get the non-encrypted channels I guess

What is the difference between the h1 and h2 and do these boxes only come with a white case

Amount of ram/flash.

Also check the back - seems like H2 has a switch for tuner amp.

ZGemma H1 : 1 x DVB-S2 satellite & 1 x DVB-C/T Cable/Terrestrial receiver

ZGemma H2 : 2 x DVB-S2 satellite Tuners

Dear people who already have this box, u know DM800se renders the OSD and skin at 720p, and scales it up to 1080p when u use HDMI 1080p.

Is this the case for Zgemma H1/H2?

I'm hoping it does 1080p natively cos 720p -> 1080p is not ideal.

Its against the rules talking about a legit sub? I'm not saying sharing or softcam. I'm saying grab the irdeto card from my cable sub (which I pay for) and putting it in this receiver.

are you saying that you have another place for recordings on network or pc and you want to play them on your box,maybe samba or n** to be seen on network.
any usb or hdd needs mounting to be seen if thats your issue.

Hi all,
i am having problem to play movies, recorded from the net onto my usb stick.
I can record and playback from the zgemma box but anything recorded from a tiers device won't play (not even seen) by the zgemma...
Thinking of a missing plugin, but which one??? An helping hand will be appreciated.
