Endemal what make of dvb-c tuner do you have bud?

I am reading that the box is cloned already (from those that support the support forum) and some boxes have the sony tuners as opposed to samsung and suffer from same problems as some cloud boxes. Pleased that your box is working great but looks like others not so well pleased and wont deal with AD. If the box works fine though great price.

Very strange just out of curiosity i made a share from my Gigablue Quad+ using samba on OpenATV 4.3 (Latest beta image) to my workstation PC and it records to and plays from fine in the mounted share folder

Which images are we talking about and which receivers

i use vix images on solo,solo2,duo,max digital 1000 hd and various updates by new usb flash and no settings restore, and had issues over 6 months ago with samba not working kept getting errors, had samba running over 2 years with no issues and only lately was told to not use samba as it was dropped and to use nfs and worked first time.all boxes are now on nfs and no issues.
plenty of other posters had same issues over there using samba and was resolved with nfs.

I'm in an offset area, so the lowest frequency used here is 106.750. It was introduced a few months ago for some HD channels. To be on the safe side, I also included 98.750 in my cables list, just in case they decided to go 1 TP lower.

I had trouble with 106.750 on my Q5. I had to use a signal amp to receive it.

What image would you use for either box? What image comes as standard on the boxes?
What's also the preferred way of flashing the boxes I don't fancy bricking it on day one.

                      Andy.

Does the box require a bootloader?

Ive never dealt with any kind of Vu boxes so all I'm asking is for plain and simple info. Your quick to tell us how great they are.
