I bought a couple from there and they didn't have a UK plug I used a UK figure of 8 plug.

Got my H1 running sweet now on OpenATV 5.0.

      Quick question.
I have a 8 gig USB stick in the back for CrossEPG and few other things and was recently given an external HD with a 500GB hard drive in it.

I want to use the 500GB for recording. Can I leave the USB stick in the back and use the front USB socket for the large drive or should I plug the larger one straight into the back?

      Thanks.

You can plug it in the front but default settings for recording go to media/hdd which openATV will have mounted the stick in the back to. you will need to change the mount points so that the hdd is set to hdd and the usb is set to usb then change the crossepg path to save to media/usb along with your file swap and any picons you are using. By installing epg, picons and file swap to usb it means the hdd will only spin up when recording. Reducing noise and wear on the drive

          Thanks mate.
I thought I could just change the location in the 'Recording' options on OpenATV without touching anything else.

I've not got round to it yet but will in the next few days.

You can as long as you remember you have called your usb an hdd and vice versa. I suggested changing the mountpoints so they match the device to avoid confusion but if your happy just changing the recording path go for it.

Any reason why my USB is not showing in the Mount Manager section?

I initialised it when I first started using it. Tried to mount it today as it wasn't showing, box rebooted but still nothing.
It's working perfectly fine as it is but wasn't sure why it's not showing as being mounted.

              Thanks.

So does the H2 only supports DVB-T/T2 or also DVB-C?
I'm asking because many sellers are only advertising DVB-T2 for the H2.

Alright, so I can use it for cable as well.
So how does the H2 compare with the dm800se ?
It has 512MB flash like the dm800se v2, but it's cpu it faster (750MHz vs 400MHz in the dm800se).
Any reviews covering picture quality and zapping times?

Picture will be the same as they are both Broadcom based chipsets as are most Linux Enigma2 machines

Had my Zgemma H1 running perfect for the last few couple of months, been away for the last couple of week and on my return the box was not working. I have set it all up again and the Sat side is working fine but on the cable side I am only receiving the few free SD channels. I keep deleting my magic and reloading using FileZilla but no joy. Any help would be appreciated. I have checked with my supplier and it is ok that side. Thanks

I'd suggest reading the rules as you'll get no help with that here

Without going in-depth thats what the 'Cable' side is apparently for

Has anyone got their box to work ok on cable, my box has a Samsung cable tuner PS101A and the reception is cr*p, on another forum a poster says it is well known that these tuners are rubbish and the h2 has a better samsung tuner, anyone else heard this.
