Certainly not heard this unless you actually bought a Clone model with a different tuner, The H1 model (Original) has a very sensitive DVB-C/T tuner.

    perhaps your problem lies elsewhere

The tuner in mine is a Samsung ps101A, is it possible to tell if it is a clone.

Are the H1 and H2 the cheapest on the market for cable?

dont forget buying cheap usually means cheap parts used and no safety built in,as long as buyer knows the quality or lack of before buying.

you would have to flash the patched OpenVix image for the Skins you refer to they are not in the skin section of the OpenATV image but can be added manually via an .ipk install

                        Hi

I have found a zgemma H2 and which I want to use for cable as well as satelite. I have found a H2 but it has the ONE DVBS2+T2 Tuner built-in, second tuner Samsung 109A tuner. As its not DVB-C does this mean it doesnt work with cable or is T the newer version but still compatible with cable?

For the slightly extra cost I am thinking going for the H2 over H1 as lots of people are saying the tuner is meant to be better.

On a side note is there a box which does DVBS2/DVB-T/C/ IPTV such as Kodi?

                        Thanks

From reading around i have read the exact opposite that the H2 tuner is not as sensitive as the H1, the H1 is just DVB-S2 and DVB-C where as the H2 is DVB-S2 and DVB-C/T/T2.

The only receiver which meets the needs of your last question is the Wetek Play, Unfortunately it only has one tuner slot so you pick your tuner say either a twin DVB-S2 or a single DVB-C/T/T2, if you dont mind swapping them aorund then get both tuners or buy 2 receivers

So would you recommend the h1 over the h2 for me as I get a weak signal on VM ?

That i am afraid i could not give you a 100% definite answer on as i have never used the H2 model but all the H1's i have used/seen in action have worked flawlessly apart from 1 where some channels where located on the low frequency end around 130mhz-180mhz and this did have problems for the H1, A booster would probably fix a situation similar to that problem
