Once firmware is released it does need time to settle trust me it's got nothing to do with busy time or cause lots of KV users r downloading at the same time am sure that's not the case! I once had waited all night before updating 5 his box which didn't even work anyway it might work but pc is the best way. Good luck bud

nothing to do with busy time it aint working simples, even u can see from my post no ones has been able to update over the internet.

dont forget,sometimes com1 does not work on the kv downloader then try 2 or 3 or 4.

and as you should have done already after reflashing do a factory reset/rescan from main coaxial feed

can anyone help ive got my own box which ive managed to update the 2015 firmware on with no problems, i then done my sisters box which worked fine aswell... i done my friends box and it gets to 16% on the data transfer bit via null cable and it says download failed? any ideas peeps?

Restart the download and this time make sure you turn the box on by pressing the front ON button seconds after you pressed start on the loader. Good luck

Yh depends on what pc u using. Coms are different u can check them in your device manager by pressing the Port + and should say com1 or com2. Yh great stuff let hope it finishes well
