if under warranty they should replace it probably with a 5 as 4 is old now,always remember to read the tutorials for these boxes very important.

should still be under warranty but the shop i got it from are not responding to my messages and i cant find the manufacturers contact details. might just have to chalk it up to experience and buy a new one.

As of the 17/08/'09 looks like N*L areas of Ireland have started to shift over to Nagra 3 and this firmware does not clear N3 channels.

no once box scans in all channels from provider,you cannot add more.

so they only make updates once the box stops working. I thought they will just update for bugs and things.

I tried to flash staview box usb with version 1.07 and its now bricked! if i can unbrick it shall i update with version 1.12? is this version safe or is there a chance it could brick again?

if your are in irl only 5 or so channels work but for how long,in leeds i believe all channels gone.
