Starview 5 - firmware

having same problems with my sv5 been reading the posts, gona try the downloads and see how i get on?? not too good with this stuff so prob be back begging for help

This is one of the easyest boxes to get up and running if and only if you follow the tut print it out if you need too.But follow it and you will get what your after.

please can someone help.i have a starview 5 and have downloaded the tutorial.i have a usb external hardrice and formatted to fat 32,wen i add the firmware i got from this site it doesnt show up on the box under usb??should it be ther??please some =one give me some help

It seems to work better if you use a USB stick m8

im just about to buy a sv5 box, had no trouble sorting sv4 firmware but reading all these posts, gettin a bit worried that i wont be able to sort sv5 out. im not the best with these things and relied on this site for my starview 4, am i gonna get the firmware do you think

Hi Maca, copied firmware to usb and onto box still cant get all channels ? wot am i doing wrong ? ur help is much appreciated !

have you read the tut m8. also have you rescanned and turned key code to on (menu 1570)..

yeh read tut and switched keycode to on after 1570, just rescanning now ?? just scanned and come up no new channel ? wot am i doing wrong ?? oh and i love the pool to m8 !

ok m8 you formated usb to fat32.
you scanned from factory settings (0000)
hit default key
scanned from main feed no splitters yes?

just plugged my usb in pc and sent file to it ?? wots fat 32 ?
