I have recently upgraded to SV4 in Dublin and nagra 2 fix is working. Is there anything I can do with my old SV2? Is it best for the land fill?

Hi is this 4,57 update the newest one a friend of mine gave me a "the box" not a usb one so am guessing its the starview 2, just cant get it to work - based in bristol england

Been meaning to post this for a while now.I have 2 starview the boxs flashed with 4.57 firmware .When ever i go to the epg and scroll up or down after while i get a green screen and the box resets itself,but its only on the epg.

it will still work in n.irl and uk on n1 still.

have you factory reset first,then tried scanning your correct provider,coaxial goes to cable input,and emu on then exit out.

Hi Folks,
Hoping someone can help me with some guidance on flashing my dad's "The Box" with the firmware 4.57.
At the mo he has 4.54ee and it's not picking many channels. Is there a definitive guide to be had from start to finish. I have a serial null modem cable and a nikkai usb to nine pin adapter. I have also downloaded the firmware but when i press download i get error messages telling me the file is empty or bin file not opened or something similar. I'm in dublin in case it's of any importance.
Any help would be much appreciated.
