Hy there,

It seems your the only person that can help me. i have an old Starview 2 Box that just keeps loosing channels. Do you have any new firmware that I can upload onto it, thus keeping the kids happy?

pls i have a starview The Box and i want to install the flash file i have downloaded it and when i press the download button it comes up with the message error model name empty this is the message i have been getting for the last 4 days pls can you point me in the wright direction if am doing something wrong

Latest firmware revision is on page 1 of this thread. If you are losing channels an autoscan should bring them back. Just delete the blank channels and scan from the direct feed.

Are you using the correct Gtromloader? Which firmware version are you flashing also?

i am using version 4.57 and the box i have has TheBox written in front of it

trying to put new software on my stvw2 box but there s a problem somewhere. When connected to rs32 cable the loader does not detect the bin file as well as the model?
Any help plz

you would have been better posting this in the forum as a new thread ,they tend to get lost on the back of the stickies.

did you open the gt rom loader then click bin file,this should open another box with the bin file in ,highlight the bin file then click open ,this should tranfer the bin file to the loader .switch your box on from the back and wait till you see ON on the led display then press download on the loader.the display should now be going up in % from 1 to 100.
