Fix 4.57 works

Fix 4.57 works just use the 4.03 loader that comes with it, this is exactly what I done. Download the fix (4.57) onto your (mine was a straview 2) than factory reset your box and than install channels again dont forget to turn the emu on via pressing the secret menu code 1570. I than reset the default key exited out of the secret menu went to channel s*y 2 waited around 2 minutes and hey presto all channels back as before

I have a Starview Box, the thing is i dont know if its Starview 1 or 2. Secondly i am trying to flash it and all it says is Flash failed the reason why i am trying to flash it is because a message always comes up data is being uploaded..Please help

Hie guys l have just been trying to fix the the box for 21 days and till today still havent got a positive answer.

On display it only shows "0" after loading the software and l dont know were lm going wrong pliz help.Does it mean its dead

Hi me again i managed to find the 4.55 software on this fourum but it says i cant download anyting from here which is a bit annoying really. Anyone give me any tips or send me the file pleeeeease, at least then i wouldent have to put up with her nagging me about having nothing toi watch :@. Thanks again

Tried this fix on my Box, which finds the channels no problem, but then when viewing every channel goes in to an update mode and over 100% , never finishing and no picture.
Tried factory restore and re flash, but no better.
Any ideas, Im Ex C and B no on Virg.

If flashed correctly it will work if key emu is on. Press menu - press 1570 on your remote - check that key emu is enabled. Exit all the way out and put it on Sly Sports 1 to update.

This is mad. Got a hold of a Thebox tonight to sort out. The mad thing is this : it would not update on 5 premium channels, changed to sly sports 1 and immediately started updating. Doh ! Great advice here much obliged Satsmo.

Hi all,

I have a starview 2 box and i am tyring to find the right firmware version to update it. I've been told to update to v4.55 but apparently v4.57 is now available. Is it true?

I currently have v4.54 installed on the box but it just says updating but doesn't scramble the channels. Is this because this particular update has now expired??
