then Nosher did some googling, but to no avail, now decuded between us this:-

piece of plywood, 6' x 1' wall paper some poundland tin foil to it,
two thin strips of wood down the edges, some @poundland wire
fence mesh, pir sensor set to 10 mins, connected to t' mains.

great, but cos t' naybours need to try 50volts ac instead
on tinfoil and wire mesh, see what happens
