I think students are taking the revenge when they were done cattle tactics by the Met police and they have failed to do that now.

I see West Ham game has been called off. That's a shame, because the 'mob' against the average Hammer's fan would have been interesting!

I am unsure if we have water cannons to handle this situation. Most sensible solution to my mind is to make a curfew tonight after 7pm in London. If you are out in London beyond that time tonight expect a different Police approach.

Tear gas, rubber bullets for 24 hours in London will not harm anyone other than scum.

If you have to cancel your night out because of curfew so be it.

We must be the laughing stock of the world.

Riot like this in Paris and the Police snatch squads deal with you in the back of their van before processing you down the local station. Riot like this in US and run this risk of being shot dead. I believe the National Guard deal with incidents like this from the outset.

The police system is crap anyhow too busy arresting drunk people not doing anything wrong.
Any real criminals they don't know what to do. The capital of England the so called best city in the world (I'm northern & can't stand London).
Not enough police & they don't know what to do. Only had training in how to climb a ladder, how to walk a street & how to drive a car.
