I honestly think the feral rats of today haven't had it hard enough. Our parents had to work for everything they had. They grew vegetables and handed down clothes throughout the family (felt a right cnut in a dress). If you had a Black and White TV you were rich, very few people had cars and families lived as families. If you never had 2 parents you felt out of place. You knew your neighbours and could leave your house open as you had nothing to steal. These were the real days when people had nothing.

Today the rats are lucky if they have one parent never mind 2. They get council or private accomodation paid for, More benefits than our parents. Designer gear, mobiles, Plasma TVs etc. They leave school with a minimum education and wonder why they can't get jobs rather than ask why they are unemployable.

The soft as shi+e liberals and left wing do gooders give them a hug and blame everyone else for their problems rather than tell them to buck up and contribute to the community or shup the f up.

First post on this and just want to say what a complete joke dont these people realise that they are destroying there own communities? Actually I dont even think there smart enough to care.

I do not think the police have done enough but they also need to be given more power in this matter, never mind guns that shoot rubber bullets get the real ones out, anyone attacks put a bullet in there leg, the message will soon get about that if your going to be a little shit your life is at risk. Even get the army in there.

I wouldnt say its a matter of them not having it hard enough and having a easy life that has caused this.

I am 24 and I had a easy upbringing but the reason i would have or never would do something like this is the moral aspect it is completely wrong.

I also know that my son will not grow up to behave in this manner as he will be brought up to know the difference between right and wrong, that if you want things in life you must work for them and nothing is handed to you on a plate.

Where are these youths parents while there children some apparently as young as 12 out till all hours of the night? They should also be brought to justice for a extreme lack of parenting.

This is a mix of bad parenting and also the youth not making the right choices, as there are people that come from backgrounds with terrible parents but still go and take the right paths in life.
