I would love to see a complete breakdown of those arrested in the riots so the general public could have a good understanding and unbiased opinion of what type of individual carries out these actions.

We've all been guilty of blaming certain kinds within the community but as has been seen on the TV we've had a Teacher, Army recruit, Millionaires Daughter, wealthy students etc arrested, not your typical tracksuited uneducated youth.

It's a fact, you know it and so should everyone else. I can only assume you were raised in a proper fashion, and what you are going to install in your child is just normality to you. Trust me when I say you will be tested on your words, but kids are a real blessing. It's your duty to do exactly as you state.

Sadly many parents have never experienced those things, and therefore find it very difficult to install those values in their kids.

Any 2 disrespectful fools can produce a baby, and the morons out on the street over the recent days more than likely have parents of that ilk. I think it stands to reason that the likelihood of a child being brought into this world under the these circumstances from younger parents is higher than from an older couple.

It's interesting how as 24 year old you categorise yourself or your 20 year old partner as being kids, where it is plain to see that you are both adult. I am sure that you would agree that when a 16 year old gives birth and there is no father on the scene it is a million miles from your scenario.

Sorry still disagree obviously teens are not right but in your 20s why not. For instance my mum had me at 21 did i turn out wrong no did she or my dad turn out wrong no they are very succesful. To be a good parent you need to be a good person yourself you need to right from wrong and you need to make the right decisions. To blame a age is bullshit there are plenty of bad parents out there of all ages from teens to pensioners. I bet the youngsters rioting also have parents of middle age and older which are simply just wastes of space and bad parents.

I do agree that youngsters these days have it to easy its a joke and as someone else said half of them dont know basic cooking schools. I love cooking and enjoy it and can make some cracking dishes and one thing is for sure my son and future children will never eat all this frozen crap, take aways, mcdonalds and all that junk food but will eat home cooked meals. Thats where the problem is half these kids get microwave meals put down to them infront of the tv, never get a home cooked meal, not helping mum or dad out in the kitchen (learning how to cook) and none of them actually sit down at the table as a family. And its not a case of having to be gordon ramsay in the kitchen .

So i may not meet your criteria as to what makes a good parent or family but i know for certain that we are doing a fantastic job at it and theres plenty other parents of all ages out there doing the same.

Was reading on one of the newspaper sites today that a 11 year old boy was in court over the riots and acted all innocent and remorseful infront of the judge. When he left the court his mother spat on a reporter and he told him to f off. With a mother like that its not hard to work out where he gets his manners from. Spitting on someone come on that is complete filth.

what do you suggest they do like to help the unease and these poor lost youth, free driving lessons a rise in jobseekers allowance a free lift to work a minumum wage of ?20 an hour ??

i have seen first hand what a lost of this lost youth get and it is absolutely ridiculous bad behaviour is rewarded with trips with social workers and outreach workers to places like thorpe park and blackpool pleasure beach they take kids out shopping and buy them clothes and mobile phones

the truth is 99% of this lost youth who complain are masters at playing the system the have no intention of doing anything

if they want to be found they need to do it on thier own society has had the pi55 took out of it long enough

your view is very one dimensional and has no thought ask yourself who is going to pay to help your lost youth because the government can only spend what it earns

which is why we have problems because too many people are a drain on society so lets not blame the taxpayer by saying they should do more because it is not the taxpaying publics fault

being a young adult means being responsible and making your way in the world you cant blame anyone for the path you choose

if i chose to be an addict or an armed robber tommorow that is as much david camerons fault as it is yours

tell your lost gang of youths to try living in libya or iraq and see if they like it better

Hate to sound like Norman Tebbit here, but if people think that the government doesn't give a damn about people/jobs in the inner cities then the answer is to move. Something I did many years ago, although not from an inner city. I realised that in the town where I live there were no jobs in the line I wanted to do and not enough money anyway. So I moved.

If someone is pi**ing on you form a great height do you:

a) Move
b) Sit there and moan about it. Maybe try start a riot...

I think in everyone's case the answer would be 'a' (unless of course you're one of those people who pay for such services, however that's way OT for this thread)

believe me i hear their moans every day today i have had

a pensioner on the phone saying he is ?9 a day to take fags to his son who is in a psyciatric hospital and will we reimburse him. his son gets ?105 a week incapacity benefit but gives them no dig money so he (the dad) needs extra benefit

a woman who said she was getting no other benefits but got
?925 a month housing benefit
over ?200 a month council tax
?105 a week ctc
?400 a month maintenance money

and she wanted to know what she could claim

a guy just out of jail that got dla and incapacity benefit and wanted then reclaimed

a 16 yr old claiming esa with depression
