    Gomez keen on Reds

Bayern Munich striker Mario Gomez is interested in a move to Liverpool, according to the player's agent.

Liverpool are believed to made a loan enquiry for the German international as they look to bolster their attacking options and help take some of the burden off Fernando Torres.
Gomez has dropped down the pecking order at Bayern and he is thought to be considering a move as he searches for regular first-team football.

The player's agent, Uli Ferber, has admitted it would be hard to reject a move to Liverpool.

"When a club like Liverpool inquires, their interest cannot be pushed off the table," Ferber told Kicker.

But the club claim they want too keep him ?

Queens Park Rangers are in talks with Fulham to sign striker Bobby Zamora.

The England forward has been linked with a move away from Craven Cottage and it is understood that new QPR boss Mark Hughes has made an approach.

Zamora, 31, who joined Fulham for ?4.8m from West Ham in 2008, has scored seven goals in 29 appearances this season.

Earlier this month Fulham boss Martin Jol dismised reports that Zamora was set to leave amid rumours of a rift between the two.

Zamora signed a four-year deal to 2014 with Fulham when Hughes was manager of the west London club.

Meanwhile, midfielder Martin Rowlands has left QPR after his contract was terminated by mutual consent.

The 32-year-old was signed from Brentford by Ian Holloway in July 2003 and made more than 200 appearances for the Rs.

Chelsea have completed the signing of Genk winger Kevin de Bruyne for a fee believed to be ?6.7m.

The 20-year-old has signed five-and-a-half-year contract at Stamford Bridge, but will be loaned back to the Belgian side for the rest of the season.

He told the club website: "To come to a team like Chelsea is a dream but now I have to work hard to achieve the level that's necessary."

Meanwhile, Blues striker Philipp Prosenik, 18, has joined AC Milan.

The Austrian has moved to the San Siro for an undisclosed fee.

Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas had insisted the arrival of De Bruyne was nothing to do with him and that it was down to "club policy for the future".

He explained: "It's a target that's decided by the club, that I knew about for quite some time

Marcus Olsson has signed for Blackburn Rovers on a free transfer from Swedish side Halmstads BK, joining his twin brother Martin at Ewood Park.

The 23-year-old, who can play on the wing or up front, has signed a two-and-a-half year deal.

He earned his first caps for Sweden this month, playing in friendlies against Bahrain and Qatar.

Olsson had a trial with Blackburn in 2005, at the same time as his brother, but was not signed.

The Swede scored 17 goals in 139 appearances during a four-year period at Halmstads BK.

Martin Olsson, who signed for Blackburn when he was 17, is already an established Premier League player and for the Swedish national side too.

The twins, who last played club football together at under-16 level at Hogaborgs BK, were recently reunited on the pitch when they both featured for their country in the Bahrain game.

Manchester City full-back Wayne Bridge is to have a medical at Sunderland on Tuesday ahead of a proposed loan move.

The former Chelsea defender, 31, has only played once for manager Roberto Mancini this season - in a 2-0 Carling Cup victory over Birmingham.

Bridge, capped 36 times for England, was signed by Mark Hughes in the January transfer window of 2009.

Sunderland manager Martin O'Neill moved for the experienced left-back after his defensive resources were further stretched by the loss of Wes Brown to a suspected medial ligament injury at the weekend.

Bridge joined Chelsea from his home-town club Southampton for ?7m in July 2003 before his ?12m switch to City.

But he has made just 58 appearances in three years at the club.

Everton have agreed a fee with Rangers for Croatia striker Nikica Jelavic, subject to a medical.

West Ham manager Sam Allardyce confirmed that he had dropped his interest in the 26-year-old after a ?7m was offer to Rangers was rejected.

Everton boss David Moyes refused to comment on any deal, saying: "I never talk about players at other clubs."

Allardyce confirmed: "If I'm led to believe where it is at the moment, for us it was too expensive - full stop."

The Hammers' bid was similar to an offer from Leicester City that Rangers rejected in the summer.

Rangers were believed to want about ?8m for Jelavic, who will now hold talks over personal terms with Everton ahead of Tuesday's transfer deadline.

Roma have confirmed they are in talks with Manchester City over a loan deal for David Pizarro.

Sky Sports revealed earlier on Tuesday that City were in talks with Roma over the 32-year-old Chilean.

The midfielder has been linked with a number of rival Italian clubs, as well as Russian giants Zenit St Petersburg, but he now looks set for a loan move to City.

Roma general director Franco Baldini confirmed: "For our transfer market, I would say that there will be no surprises, we're just trying to close with City for (David) Pizarro.

"We are looking at a loan, we hope to reach an agreement by tonight."

Millwall have boosted their striking options by signing Andy Keogh on a two-and-a-half year contract from Wolves for an undisclosed fee.

Keogh joined Wolves in 2007, but he has not made a first-team appearance for the club since August 2010 after spending spells on loan at Cardiff City and Bristol City last season.

He spent the first half of the current campaign at former club Leeds United and scored twice in 24 appearances during his time at Elland Road.

The Republic of Ireland international has now secured a permanent move away from Molineux and is looking forward to playing for Millwall.

Scottish champions Rangers have made a deadline day bid for Norwich City captain Grant Holt, Sky Sports understands.

Gers boss Ally McCoist has seen leading marksman Nikica Jelavic agree a deal with Everton, and he will complete his move to Merseyside on Tuesday.

McCoist has made Holt his number one target and is now hoping some of the Jelavic money will be used to lure him to Glasgow.

Sky Sports now understands that a firm offer has been lodged with the Norfolk club, who have already stressed they would not want to lose the 30-year-old.

Holt has been with Norwich since 2009 and is a huge fans' favourite, scoring 61 goals in 112 games.

Tottenham coach Joe Jordan has refused to rule out the possibility of Juventus winger Milos Krasic making a move to White Hart Lane.

The Serbia international has been linked with a number of clubs since the transfer window opened, with teams in England, Italy and Russia said to be closely monitoring his situation.

With Juve unable to guarantee him first-team football this season, it has been suggested for some time that Krasic could be on the move in January.

Spurs have been touted as one possible destination for the 27-year-old, and Jordan admits the Premier League outfit will be keeping all of their options open up until Tuesday's deadline has passed.

"I cannot say too much about the club's intentions," he told tuttojuve.com.

Bolton Wanderers have made an improved ?7m offer for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha.

Trotters boss Owen Coyle confirmed that an initial bid for the 19-year-old had been lodged on Tuesday.

However, Palace chairman Steve Parish has since told BBC Sport that Zaha and defender Nathaniel Clyne, a reported target for Wolves, are "going nowhere".

"I don't think it is to the value that the Crystal Palace chairman wants," Coyle said after the first bid.

"But it is an offer we felt was fair for a very talented young player."

Bolton are also increasingly hopeful of concluding a loan deal for Arsenal's Ryo Miyaichi before Wednesday's transfer deadline.

Zaha has scored five goals in 32 appearances so far this season, attracting the attention of Bolton's Premier League rivals Newcastle and Liverpool.

Only last month, Zaha signed a new five-and-a-half-year deal with the club.

"I always put what I think is a fair value on a player and if we get to it, great," added Coyle.

"But at the moment it looks as if we are a way apart in terms of valuation."
