D Llambias was the person who had made the comment about Carroll. It was all over the north east early this year, people talking about it, he was in a hotel bar talking to some of his friends and was overheard saying it at the same time slating Keegan and Shearer about their time as management.

All these crap players got me thinking over the years we've had too many.

Erik Meijer, Bernard Diomede, Bruno Cheyrou, Sean Dundee, Diouf, Diou, Vignal, Biscan, Troure (Although both helped win us the CL in 05) Pegguy Arphexad.

Think all of them were bought by Houllier. Anyone for Heskey, Heggem, Riedle, Leonhardsen

I don't think he need to get he sack. He just shouldn't be involved in buying any more talent. If he were to get sacked the cause would be a little of both.

I can't believe the usual suspects in here are now seeing what i have been telling them all along that Downing, Henderson and Adam suck. What made you all come around? You finally got over that an American could be right about something when it comes to football. I don't think they will sell him in January cause Suarez will be missing for 9 games. Carrol has 9 games to prove he deserves to wear the jersey. I think he will score many cause Gerrard will provided the proper ball for him.

Wolfy goes over the top he isn't willing to give the players a chance, unlike the rest of us. We may criticise players but we give them time to prove us wrong like Lucas, Wolfy isn't willing to give anyone time by the looks of it. I gave them a chance but after 5 games that is all i needed to see. Henderson running around not knowing what to do. That loser Downing pissing me not making a decent cross ( That is why he was bought in ) and not playing any defense. I'll say Adam was better than the other two but only slightly all he wanted to do is chuck the ball forward every time he touch the ball. Being a set piece specialist he's not. No wonder Carrol struggles when you can't get service from the other players. A striker is only as good as the ball played into him. I know what all of you thought when they were signed. You all said WTF is he signing so an so but if Kenny Dagleash is signing him he must know something i don't. So this is why you gave them so much time to prove themselves. About Football Manager the game is for geeks like all of those fantasy sport games.

This is exactly what i expected from you, giving players just 5 games aswell to show they're the best thig since sliced bread taking in to account new surroundings, bigger club etc yeah that makes sense. If you were our gaffer there would be no team left after a month, youd seriously knock a players moral instead of boosting it. Also we the fans have our opinions on signings who we want the club to sign and so on but Kenny the coaches the board do have more knowledge then us thats what they get paid for the scouts are looking at these players for a period of time. Also them so called Football Manager geeks have more knowledge then you aswell.
