It's a start to get back where we belong - in amongst the trophys year in and year out ! LIVERPOOL FC - YNWA.

Typical Liverpool we don't do easy final wins we make them a spectacle for the whole world to enjoy.

How many final's is that now we can say is one of the best ever which has included Liverpool?

And the league cup record goes on.

Whole lot of credit to the Cardiff team they can go home with they're heads held high, they were a credit to Wales unlucky on the day but they played their part.

I thought Downing was brrrrrrrrrilliant today wna see more of it in the coming games and the rest of the season, onwards n upwards. Carroll needs to work on his movement which there isn't much of at the moment, he's never in the places where we need him.

Downing wasn't that great. Kenny waited to long to bring on Kuyt. Liverpool played sloppy. Should of made a double change of Kuyt and Bellamry for Downing and Henderson. Would of won the game in Regular time. The biggest problem was Adam. He is slotted into the holding role but drifts out of it to much leaving Liverpool exposed. It's not the place he wants to be. Should of started Spearing it would of let Gerrard not worry about playing defense. I know you all going to say i complaining even after the win. All I'm pointing out is if Kenny picks that line up against Arsenal were in trouble. It's great to win the trophy but look who we played and we were far from dominating. It all comes down to the three turkeys they were bad. It was a great game cause it's always great when Liverpool win.

Downing was MOTM.........I personally thought he would have a good game on a big wide pitch like that, and he did have a really good game.

Henderson was p1ss poor today but he hasnt been that bad all season and Adam did the job he was asked to do.

We had 39 shots and 19 were on target....what exactly do you want from the players.

I have seen far better performances from us when we drew/lost but today we had a slice of luck with the pen shoot out but we deserved to win overall. Cardiff defended really well and posed problems on the break but we were the dominating team...(imho)

What are you going on about, that was Downing's best game in a Liverpool shirt he deserves credit when it's due.
