Can't believe Downing scored. He did take very well and if he would cut back on that left he might be affective with the pace he has. We all know crossing the ball isn't his foray and before the goal he looked like sh*t. I still think he needs to go but I'll give him some credit since he scored the winner in a game where Liverpool could of lost.Comment

he never got a chance when he was finally fit enough to play at the end of Rafa's reign he was playing some good football, then along came Woy who sent him on his way just when he wanted to stay after that he never looked like wanting to stay at the club.
If he's shit what's Joe Cole?????

A player that we never should have signed, too old and stupid wages (joe cole)he never got a chance when he was finally fit enough to play at the end of Rafa's reign he was playing some good football, then along came Woy who sent him on his way just when he wanted to stay after that he never looked like wanting to stay at the club.
If he's shit what's Joe Cole?????
But Aquilani is terrible, 20 million quid, injured alot. reported to be on 100k+ per week with a bonus structure that the lottery would be proud of. Pound for pound the worst signing this club has ever made.
He has no drive, his passing isnt that great, he has no pace and no desire. His ambition must be shocking, he was happy to sit on the bench for wages and a bonus fee rather than saying "enoughs enough....i want to play football"
I cant think of anything worse in a player.
If he was any good milan or juventus or anybody else would have had him......he was going for a bargain price but the contract we put hin on made him seem like he was messi.
Total joke of a footballer.Comment

Suarez signs new contract
The Uruguay forward committed his future to the Reds by putting pen to paper on the deal on Tuesday afternoon after returning to Melwood following the Olympics earlier this week.
Moments after signing the deal, Suarez told Liverpoolfc.com: "To sign a new contract with Liverpool is unbelievable for me because I am so happy here at both the club and also in the city.
Luis on his new LFC deal
"That is important for me and I am very happy with my new contract.
"When you are a kid, everybody wants to play for Liverpool. I am here now and it is a dream for me, and now I am a Liverpool fan.
"I am happy off the pitch because the people of Liverpool are good with me and my family. I try my best on the pitch and when you are happy off the pitch, you are happy on the pitch.
"I want to say thank-you to the fans because they are our 12th player. The supporters of Liverpool are unbelievable.
"Five or six years ago I watched on TV the stadium and the club, and now I play here and the supporters have helped me. That's very important for me."
Suarez has established himself as a Kop favourite at Anfield since his transfer from Ajax in January 2011.
The No.7 has scored 21 goals and created countless assists for his teammates in 52 appearances for Liverpool.
Manager Brendan Rodgers added: "I'm delighted. When you have the opportunity to work with world-class players it's fantastic.
"There were certainly a few clubs who were interested in him but over the off-season he and I communicated well - and he's committed himself for the long term here now.
"He's really looking forward to playing in this way of working. As a manager and for the supporters, I'm delighted because I know how important he is for them."
THE TRUTH
The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12
Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.Comment

I bet Aquilani has a good year. The problem with him was Liverpool paid to much for him and he was injured with an injury that took a long time to heal. Saying he was the worst signing Liverpool ever made surely wrong. The three turkeys are way worse than him. How about Carroll? I'm not going to lose sleep over Aqua leaving but still think he deserved a chance.Comment
